I LOVE ANIMALS! It's that simple...dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, horses, etc. I save turtles crossing the road. I'm a life-long vegetarian. I have volunteered with Angels Among Us Pet Rescue and the Atlanta Humane Society. I've helped care for cleaning cat cubbies, playtime, gentle petting with a sweet voice and walking dogs. I'm a small business owner of a tech education company. I was an elementary teacher for over 20 years. I've built up my business so I now have a lot more free time and animals are my passion. I'm available anytime after 8am and prefer to finish before dark. The queen diva of our home is our 14 year old kitty, Noel. She was adopted from Angels Among Us 12 years ago. I love dogs and cats equally. Depending on the need, I can also assist with taking small pets for vet checkups or grooming appts. I have plenty of flexible time during my day to spend quality time caring for animals. A kind voice, kneeling down or sitting on the floor with them, a gentle stroke...animals need time to trust you, but when they do, it's priceless. My cat has it made in our home with lots of love and gentle care that I will also provide to pets in my care. I know as a pet owner who just started needing a pet sitter when I travel, it can be a stressful time. Having a responsible and caring pet sitter can provide confidence to the pet owner that their pet is being cared for. A good pet sitter is not a replacement, but can make it a time where they receive loving care.
