Pet care experience
I love dogs! And after I lost my second dog, I was feeling a little lonely and looking for the good company of a sweet doggy. Since my husband passed away I live alone - it was me and my 2 dogs, both Pugs, one female since a puppy and 1 handicapped male rescue. My work schedule is flexible and I work from home for the most part. And since joining the Rover family, the doggies I am fortunate to care for are like members of my family. And I have to admit I have a soft spot for the seniors - we are all getting older and we should all be able to relax and enjoy these most precious moments! So I am always grateful to be blessed with such sweet company.

I have many senior doggies that I care for and can administer oral medications and injections, as well as plenty of TLC. I have no medical training for dogs or people so I always confirm special care, needs, and emergency procedures with pet families .
A typical day
Since I take mostly smaller doggies, the yard - including squirrels, rabbits, and ball play/fetch - provides plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and exercise. And since I'm home much of the time and work in the yard and garden often we can be in and out often depending on weather.
