Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little girl. As an adult, I’ve volunteered at shelters and rescues, fostering many pups and helping to place them in forever homes. I love to help socialize dogs, get them stimulated mentally and physically through walks and basic obedience training, as well as keep them comfortable and happy. We currently have a 2-year-old German Shepherd. My entire family adores animals. 🐾

Denise has a gift with dogs. She took such a great care of my girl, who has a little bit of separation anxiety, but with Denise and her family she became part of their “pack” and was really happy and relaxed. We are truly thankful!

Denise was great. Timely, caring and responsible. She took great care of our cat in drop in visits, gave timely and accurate updates, and sent photos. You can tell she really cares about animals and went out of her way to interact and relate to our cat who is not the most friendly to strangers, and to make her feel comfortable. We would not hesitate to use Denise in the future!

Our dogs are spoiled and sleep in our beds, sit with us on the couch, and occasionally get yummy table scraps like salmon/salmon skin or chicken. We have an electric fence. We also walk our pup daily. I am open to walking your pup, dog sitting, occasional boarding, caring for cats, and more!

A typical day
I love to keep dogs stimulated physically and mentally. Long walks, breaks for new smells and sights, as well as obedience training worked into dog sitting and/or walks. Occasional Pet TV time if they are like my pup and enjoy wat hung animals on television. Snuggles, belly rubs, brushing, and bathing are all up to you and your pup or vice versa. :)

Availability
I am currently a stay at home mom in Powell/Dublin so my schedule is flexible Monday-Friday from 8:30-5pm and some early evenings and weekends. I’m also open to helping with whatever needs you have for your pets.
