Hi! We’re a pet-loving couple based in Harrogate with years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes. We’re proud pet parents to Everett, our miniature labradoodle, and we know just how important it is to find someone you trust with your furry family member. We both work from home most of the time, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. Our home is right next to a beautiful green space with easy access to nature walks - perfect for dogs who love to explore. We’ve gone through puppy training with Everett, so we’re confident in handling everything from basic obedience to keeping your dog calm and engaged in a new environment. And since there are two of us, your dog will always have someone nearby for playtime, snuggles, or just a reassuring presence. We treat every dog like our own - with love, patience, and lots of tail wags.

Another successful stay for Stanley with Denas, Jacob & Everett. He always seems reluctant to leave, which is disappointing as his owner but good news overall!
Stanley had another good stay with Denas (and Everett!) It was his first overnight stay but all seems to have gone well and he’s now resting, presumably recovering from a day of play with his new pal. Thank you once again and he will be back again soon!
I had the worst experience with Denas. We met up ahead of time so him and his dog could meet each other. It went well and he agreed to continue with the booking. I was going out of town for work for 3 days and he was supposed to care for my dog during that time. I dropped him off with Denas and headed to the train station. As soon as I got on the train he messaged me saying that his dog was more reactive than he thought he would be so he was backing out of the deal. I’m not sure why he would agree to take care of my dog when his dog isn’t even ok with other dogs. It was a very tough position he put me in and almost cost me the job I was going out of town for. He has no business being on this app and if you are considering him as an option please be careful. He does not keep his word.
Stanley seemed sad to leave Denas (and his new friend Everett!) which says it all! This was the first time we’d used a sitter via the Rover website and were very pleased with how the whole process went. Thank you Denas, Jacob & Everett!

For daycare and boarding, we provide extra beds, toys, and games to help your dog feel comfortable and entertained. If needed, we can fully dog-proof the house by putting away slippers, clearing coffee tables, and closing curtains for dogs that are sensitive to outside distractions. Our Labradoodle, Everett, will be a friendly companion for your dog throughout their stay. During longer visits, and with your approval, we may take your dog on extended nature walks in the nearby green spaces to keep them active and engaged.

Here are a few things we’d love to know in advance: -Do they respond to basic commands? -Are they friendly with other dogs or prefer their own space? -Do they pull on the lead during walks? -Are they crate-trained, or do they sleep in bed with you? -Can they be left alone for short periods? -Do they have any quirks, anxieties, or special needs? The more you can share, the better we can tailor our care to make your dog feel safe, happy, and at home.
A typical day
We take your dog on regular walks and introduce them to fun games to keep them active and engaged. We are flexible and happy to follow any specific instructions you provide. If no special routine is needed, we follow the same schedule we use with our own dog, Everett, which includes a good balance of activity and rest. Throughout the day, your dog will have plenty of opportunities for play, social interaction, and quiet time to relax. Our goal is to make sure they feel safe, stimulated, and well cared for.

Availability
Our flexible work schedules allow us to adjust our days around your dog’s needs. Since our own pup, Everett, has a bit of separation anxiety, one of us is always home - so your dog will never be left alone for long. We’re typically available most days, and we keep our Rover calendar up to date to reflect any trips or time away. You can count on us to be present, attentive, and responsive to your pet’s routine.
