Pet care experience

Large fenced yard & always home!

- Partner & I are both graduate students who study from home (ie-plenty of time to care for your doggos). Spacious backyard for your fur babies to run around! - Multi-sectional: dogs have access to a fully fenced side yard and indoors with air conditioning/heating at all times. - Dogs spend most of their day hanging out with us while we study or playing with each other. - Dogs are allowed on the furniture! - We send picture/video updates of your baby at least two times a day! - Socialize with our friendly toy poodle, Thanos, and any other furry friends staying with us! - Thanos happily welcomes all canine friends. - We each have 15+ yrs of owning dogs & dog/house sitting for friends/neighbors/family. - Significant training knowledge/experience based on AKC standards/recs. - Capable of maintaining your dog's routines and consistency if in the training phase. HOURS: Available for drop off/pick up any time in the following windows: M-F: 6:30 AM to noon; 2 PM - 8 PM Sat/Sun: 8 AM - noon; 6 PM - 8 PM I'm an early riser, while my partner sleeps in a bit later. We don't respond to Rover messages after ~8 PM, but I'll get back to you around 6 AM if you message us overnight. We send pictures and videos of your pet at least two times daily. Requirements: This is what we do full-time, which means that we do sit for multiple dogs. Safety and fun are our top priorities, so it’s very important to us that all dogs we take are able to get along well with each other and have no history of aggression. We require a meet & greet or trial daycare for all new dogs before their first stay: we will have you bring them over for 15-20 minutes so we can evaluate their interaction with our dog to ensure they would be a good fit here. Must pass this temperament test in order to stay with us.

Della is our go-to sitter—we’ve used her multiple times and always recommend her. She sends regular texts and pictures while we’re gone, so we never worry about Portia and Emma. They get tons of playtime, and it’s clear they’re well cared for and happy when we return.

Awesome! Would definitely recommend to anyone needing to board their dog. I got daily videos of my dog playing with other dogs and he came home exhausted! He had a great time!

We’re new to the area and needed dog care quickly, and Della & William were such a relief to find. They were so attentive to Athena, especially her medical needs, and kept us updated so we always knew she was okay. We rarely leave her with others, but they made us feel very comfortable. We’ll absolutely be booking with them again.

So grateful to have found Della and William to take care of my Bruno! He has such a great time. And I know he’s well cared for while I’m away. Highly recommend them.

Safety, trust & environment

Most of our fur babies who stay with us prefer to spend the majority of their day at our side. But when they're not relaxing with us, they're playing with each other or exploring outside in the fenced yard! We take plenty of opportunity to play with and give every one of them all the love and attention they deserve! Attention comes in all different varieties, from fetch to endless head scratches to all the belly rubs.

Pets

A typical day

- Thanos usually gets plenty of activity in the spacious backyard and loves sharing with new canine friends. - We are happy to provide a daily walk if needed, as we often do with our dogs but isn't a fixed routine. Just let us know if your dog prefers a walk & how you prefer your dogs on the leash (loose & able to roam vs short-leash on single side) and any commands you use.

Della can host up to 10 pets per night
-We cannot take dogs who have been to commercial boarding/daycare/training anytime within the last 4 weeks due to the risk of kennel cough -NO BOARDING / NO MEET & GREETS if your dog has been sick with any time within the last 12 weeks due to risk of transmission (even if your dog already feels better). - Ensuring a serene and harmonious stay for every furry friend is our top priority. We prefer to accommodate dogs who are less vocal, as we strive to be mindful of our neighbors and create a peaceful environment for all. - Please understand that other dogs will probably be boarding, so please let us know if your dog doesn't get along with other dogs for the safety of all the furry babies here. Information we like to know beforehand: - Interaction nature with others (eg, friendly, aggressive, doesn't play well with others, etc). - Routine (including if food is scheduled & at what time) and any special needs. - Level of training. - Any training needs? (eg, providing consistent practice with commands via treats/clickers).
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
