Delaney can care for
Availability
I live at home with my parents so while it is difficult for me to board animals at my house with my dogs, my parents are home and can care for our animals when I am gone. I petsit full time so most days it is just me and the animal(s) I am caring for. Depending on their regular schedule, I try to keep their daily routine intact.

Safety, trust & environment
My house has a fenced in yard with a dog door to a screened in porch that my dogs love. If I am watching a social dog, I will check with the owners and invite them over to play. My house has seen many rescue transports and one of my dogs is a foster fail so my house is already chaos proofed. I usually prefer to keep up the owners daily routine by staying in their house and feeding their animals at the same time and in their usual spots. It is a comfort to not change everything about their environment while they are anxious. When I take them on a walks, I usually let the dog show me the way as they know the regular route by heart. If they are older and nap 10x a day or if they are energetic and play fetch 3x a day then that is what we do, it really depends on each family’s individual needs.
Information Delaney B. would like to know about your pet
During the meet and greet I will have a mental list of questions that will help me get a better understanding of your normal. There is no wrong answer and they aren’t questions you would need to prepare for ahead of time. Some examples would be how your pet eats. Do they eat as soon as the bowl is down or do they graze throughout the day? Is it normal for them to not eat a meal? Do they have a sensitive stomach? How often do you give them treats? Do they often try to eat grass or sticks? Etc.
A typical day
I love to bring over games, puzzles, and toys after getting to know your animal(s). A lot of undesirable behaviors stem from boredom, especially with young, energetic dogs. Depending on your pet, I can asses what enrichment suits them best. I have super tuff toys that withstand my super chewer bully mix, plushies with Velcro limbs to be torn off again and again, treat dispensers and snuffle mats for the food motivated, puzzles with secret departments to challenge the senses, and more.

Dog whisperer ❤️
Pet care experience
I was raised with dogs and have been affectionately referred to as “the dog whisperer” all my life. I have lots of experience with rescue animals because my family helps transport, foster, and support them. I have delivered newborn puppies, given flea treatments, and handled cats & dogs of all temperaments, abilities, shapes, and sizes. My calm confidence is a great comfort to the anxious hearts in my care. I look forward to meeting your family and learning all their lovable quirks!

Reviews
Delaney has a special connection with animals - all animals. She does wonders with our two reactive rescue dogs - not many can handle them. She is patient and caring - beyond description. Our dogs are extremely special to us (family) -I feel very comfortable leaving them in her care, for multiple nights at a time. Animal care is what Delaney was destined for.... we would be lost without her.
