Availability
I am currently working a full-time job but my shifts are overnight! Along with this, I have some weekends that are free as well as Wednesdays and Thursdays off. During the day I'll have time to swing by right after work and throughout the days as needed. I would also be able to incorporate walks as frequently as desired by you and your pet up until 10pm!

Safety, trust & environment
Unfortunately I have two dogs and two cats of my own so I am unable to bring your pets to my home both for their safety and my own pets' safety. When coming to your home I would greatly appreciate a breakdown of your pet's routine (medication times, walk times, etc.) in order to make things go as smoothly as possible. I will always make sure to move at your pet's pace, I do not like to stress them out, especially in their own environment! I also love to provide owners with pictures and daily updates on how their pets are doing, I feel like it brings a lot of piece of mind in knowing that they are in good hands. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns!
Information Deeana B. would like to know about your pet
I love to know anything you deem as important before I meet your pets. Do they have special needs? Are they reactive? Do they have any medications they take? The more information the better!
A typical day
I love to stimulate them with frozen lickimats, kongs, and puzzle games. Going on sniff walks are also fun and extremely mentally enriching for them. Often times, I like to find an empty field instead of a dog park -- this way your pet can have the range to run and play ball without being bombarded by lots of unknown smells or faces!

Pet care experience
I am a veterinary assistant who has owned dogs since I was 7 years old. I have experience with all sorts of dogs -- great danes with mobility issues that need assistance to chihuahuas who have hypothyroidism and need a medication every 12 hours. Along with that, I have experience with training puppies beginning at 8-14 weeks of age (granted I'm not a professional!) and have confidence that I can help guide you in the right direction! Along with that, I have handled dogs with all sorts of temperament so do not fear that your dog will be too much to handle. Please feel free to reach out with questions or concerns!

Reviews

Deanna is very clearly knowledgeable about working with dogs and did great with our anxious pup.

Great communication, and so open to help at last minute. Really helpful.
Deeana is great with animals! I’ve never met anyone with as much compassion as she has for them. She takes very good care of her own pets as well as the animals that she sees in the veterinarians office. Often I hear her talking about how excited she is to see all of the patients again and the same can be expected for any pets that she cares for!
