Pet care experience
I have worked as a senior care giver to a wonderful lady who suffered with dementia. She loved cats and we used to play with her neigbours cat, which she used to love - the cat got spoilt too so everyone was happy! I have grown up with dogs large and small, German Shepherds, Rotties, Spaniels and more recently I help take care of a Leonberger! She is HUGE!! When I visit she jumps up down like an excited pony! I have an effect on my furry friends and they are always happy and excited to see me - as I am to see them. I also help my mum with her lovely dog Rosie and the senior people in her area who have dogs. I walk them on them a regular basis. I also take care of my friends dogs / cats whilst they go on holiday. I have two beautiful house bunnies who live with me and they are fully toilet trained and they free roam in my home. They are a bit naughty and like to destroy my furniture with their chewing, but hey, what can you do?! My services would included drop ins and walking. I live in Belvedere and I have a full driving license and a car, so happy to take the doggies over to the woods for a good walk - I live near a great wood and park. My post code is DA17 and would like to mention that logistically I am happy to drive out to a client who is within a 25 minute drive.

Dawn was the perfect cat sitter while I was away for a week recently. Not only did Dawn visit twice a day to feed my cat she also spent time with him making a fuss and playing with him. I would highly recommend Dawn for any animal sitting. She has a lovely, friendly personality and obviously cares very much about the animals she looks after.
Dawn was very reliable and Eddie (our Jack Russell) took to her straight away. His tail went mad when she knocked at the door. I would definitely recommend Dawn to look after your pets.

I have always had a way with animals - they trust me and always end up loving me - sometime even after a few minutes! I am patient, caring and will follow any instruction given to me by the owner. I always have treats on hand - which I advise the owner of - to make sure they are happy and not on a diet of some kind. I also do NOT take multiple dogs out at a time, it's irresponsible and the dogs are not going to get a quality walk. For me it's about the quality of the dog walk, NOT how much money I can earn.

A typical day
I live near a large park & woods, I also drive so I can easily collect them from their own homes and take them out somewhere to walk/run (if they are ok in cars). Ball games are a lot of fun and will keep us both active! If permitted by the owner I like to give my friends a pigs ear or a tasty treat of some kind whilst we are out, they really enjoy that!

I am currently working part-time and would love a job where I can help people with their dog & cat caring/walking needs, I cat sit and look after them whilst their owners go away. I love animals and I love taking care of them.
