ABOUT ME: When I signed up on Rover, I had no idea how much I would love this job!! I'm middle aged and have had pets all my life, in fact this is the first time in my life, I don't have a dog of my own. I am comfortable with all sizes, breeds and personalities. I have experience with exotic pets such as snakes, large lizards and exotic birds as well as birds of prey. We love cats too! I can now add horse sitting to my resume. We will definitely be booking with Dawn again! Our dog has had such anxiety with kennel boarding in the past which has made it difficult to plan trips out of town. Dawn’s communication was excellent, she offered a meet and greet at her house prior to boarding which really helped put us at ease, and provided us with updates/photos throughout the stay. Highly recommend!
Dawn was amazing with my boys. Chester and Wesley both felt immediately comfortable with her during our pre-book meeting, and even more so when I dropped them off for boarding. 100% will use Dawn again for my dog-sitting needs.
My dog is pretty anxious, very shy, and doesn't do well with other dogs so finding someone to watch her always makes me nervous. I reached out to Dawn for a quick stay and she was great! We did a meet and greet prior and my dog gave Dawn a hug, which is a big deal! Dawn responds quickly, sent updates, is great about verifying any allergies, and was very understanding when my flight was delayed and pushed back my pickup time. I would definitely use her again!
Dawn was amazing!! She took such great care of our older pup Eddie. I think he was sad to come home! He really had a vacation while we did too 😊 Thank you so much Dawn!!

Programa
Availability and Schedule: I work a fluctuating schedule starting at 8am until 1 or 2 pm, and as late as 4pm. 4 days on 2 days off. My days off are never the same. I do have a dog-loving roommate whom has no problem pitching in if necessary.

Our home: I have a fully fenced back yard and easy access to a dog park. We do have a lot of stairs, so may not be best for senior pets. There are no children or other pets, besides fish in our residence. I will only keep one dog or one families dogs at one time, unless there is an emergency or both dogs have stayed prior and are not aggressive towards other dogs.
Un día normal
I live in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of greenspace for walking and exploring. We sometimes go to the county parks and walk on the trails. I will not take your pet to a dog park, but if super playful will take to a friends or neighbor for playtime with animals I know are friendly. I'm an outdoorsy girl and am aware of the dangers of walking near water and would never risk putting your pet in danger.
