Pet care experience
Hello. I am a volunteer with All Dog Rescue Scotland where I walk dogs in boarding kennels who are in their care and provide short term respite foster care at my home. I’ve recently taken early retirement and I am looking to provide pet boarding for your pets. I will only ever look after pets from one family at a time and your pets will have the best loving care. I live with my wife Hazel who is also a volunteer for the All Dog Rescue Scotland. We adore animals and regularly look after our friends pets when they are on holiday. Our home has a large garden which is fully secure and fenced off and we allow pets on the couches and in the beds. Your pets would be treated as family. I am happy to have a complimentary meet and greet at my home before you make a booking so that you can see how I interact with your pets. I have experience with all ages of pets and I am used to looking after rescue dogs with anxiety and other issues. There are lots of lovely walks around my home including a nice riverbank walk which dogs love and a large park a few hundred yards from my house.

It's a big thing trusting your dogs with someone for the first time, but I warmed to David and Hazel at their " meet and greet". Had no worries about leaving the boys with them. The boys had a fabulous time, and on the day of drop off, they ran into the house like they owned the place! Got regular updates and videos of their " pawlidays" and nothing was too much trouble, even my two with their " foibles". Will definitely book with David again, knowing that they totally loved having them.
David and Hazel were absolutely wonderful with our dog Barney — 1 couldn't have asked for kinder, more attentive care. From the moment we met, it was clear how calm, experienced, and genuinely lovely they are. Barney can be a little shy at first, but he took to them straight away, which speaks volumes! David kept me updated - sending videos and photos made sure he was comfortable, and gave him all the attention (and cuddles!) he needed. David took him out for great walks and played with him in the garden. Barney just loved him. It was such a relief knowing he was in safe and caring hands. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, and I'll definitely be asking for their help again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our boy!

They treated our dogs like their own - giving them plenty of love, attention, and care throughout their stay. We received regular updates and adorable photos, which was such a lovely touch and reassured us that our boys were happy and well looked after. It’s clear that Dave and Hazel truly love animals and go above and beyond to make sure pets feel comfortable and safe. Our dogs came home relaxed, happy, and clearly well cared for. If your dog requires medication I am skilled in sneaking medication into dogs and still provide the highest level of care and comfort. Your pets will be treated as family.
A typical day
Day to day activities will be tailored to your pets individual needs. Frequent walks and play time in my enclosed garden with lots of toys and treat puzzles. Time to snuggle on the sofa and cuddles are important too. I will stick to your pets usual feeding and sleeping routines
