Dog boarding Toronto
Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Darya and my husband's name is Simon. We've been hosting dogs back in 2017 till we got our own dog Reuben, who tragically passed away in July 2022. He had refectory epilepsy and needed us to be focused on him. One can say our life revolved around him, but I don't see it as a problem. In fact, I believe it's a great blessing and now we're ready to share that blessing with your pets. Rest assured, we treat pets like children. We want to make sure, while you're on vacation, your kid will get their vacation, too! We recently moved to Toronto from Montréal, so we’ll enjoy exploring the town with your dog on longer walks of desired. Since we have a lot of experience with giving medication and supplements, we are absolutely okay with special needs pets - no condition will scare us after our Reuben's daily seizures. But of course, we'll need to know in advance if your pet requires any special treatment. I can also cook, if you prefer your pet to eat slow-cooked meals. Giving raw food is not a problem as well. We both work from home. But if your pet requires some time alone, we can provide that. I work for an international animal rescue and my schedule is pretty flexible, so I can give your pet as much attention as they simply need. Sometimes we foster dogs in need, but since Canada banned 113 countries to bring animals from this October, we don't get to foster a lot. If you feel like we are a good match, text me and we'll do meet and greet. Can't wait to meet you :)
Reviews

Darya was very kind and sweet when it came to my teenage menace. Nikko really seemed to like her and her husband. She listened to the instructions and sent photos. I am very grateful to them for watching Nikko!

Great care taker, attentive and loving!

Caring and knowledgeable!

Thanks to Darya and Simon, Lunna's first experience away from us was very good. Being a dog with special needs, since she's reactive and epileptic, it was very important to us that she was in the best hands possible and that's what we've got with Darya and Simon. I totally recommend them as they'll care four your furry friend as if it was their own.

I can walk your dog 4-5 times a day. I don’t have a crate, but if you provide one, it can be used when I need to step out.

Any food allergies? Special diet? Behaviour problems or triggers? Is there a history of aggression towards other dogs/cats/children/men/women? Pray instincts? Exercise levels/preferred activities Will I need to trip pet's nails or give them a bath? Does your pet have any fears or even phobias? (our foster dog was scared of shadows) Does your dog pull a lot? Is your pet potty-trained? Is there a special need/condition that we should know of? Vet information and if you have an account in emergency vet hospital

We can do lots of things together: dog parks, regular walks, doggy and dog-friendly cafes, shopping, play dates, watching tv, taking an afternoon nap, cooking -- anything you say!

Availability
My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available for your pets most of the time. But I'll need to plan your stay at least a few days in advance, so I can provide enough attention to your pet especially during their first few days with us until they get absolutely comfortable.
