I am currently working part time but I'm available most afternoons and Fridays to come out and walk your dog. My schedule is pretty flexible so I am happy to discuss anytime that may work best for you.

As a dog walker, I will make sure to cater to your dog's specific needs by making sure to keep a good pace while letting them explore the world (or in this case the neighborhood). I will also follow any and all directions you may have before and after caring for your dog!

A typical day
For pets I watch, I will first make sure they become comfortable with me before moving onto more stimulating activities. After becoming more comfortable, I will play with your pet and give them as much attention as they'd like (or to your discretion). Hopefully by then your pet will be tired out and ready for a well earned snack/nap time.

Pet care experience
I grew up caring for hamsters and have also spent a lot of time helping take care of my girlfriend’s dogs. I’ve gone on multiple hikes with them, washed and groomed them, and dog sat for them a few times. I also help a friend with their doggy daycare business by walking dogs, feeding them, watching over them, and spending time keeping them comfortable and happy.

Darrick is amazing with dogs! My family and I went on vacation overseas and needed someone to watch our two dogs for a week. They can definitely be a handful at times, but Darrick took incredible care of them. Not only did my dogs quickly fall in love with him, but he treated them like they were his own, even taking naps with them. He also kept us updated with regular messages and photos throughout the week, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pets were happy and safe. I highly recommend Darrick to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter. I can't emphasize enough how great he is.
I can’t recommend Darrick enough! As a Rover sitter myself, I’ve seen firsthand how great he is with dogs. He genuinely loves being around them and comes over just to hang out with the pups because he enjoys spending time with them so much. He’s incredibly caring, responsible, and attentive, and I know he’ll treat your dog with all the love and care possible. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just giving them some extra attention and affection, Darrick always goes the extra mile. Your pup will be in great hands with him. Our family has a really anxious dog especially with men, and Darrick was able to win him over.
