We have a six-year-old beagle. Over that time we've been taking care of people's dogs during their vacations and holidays regularly. The dog's ages have been 6mo-15yr being small to medium-sized dogs.

Darren, his pup, and family were good hosts to our dog, Dosa, who stayed 6 nights. We initially had a meet and greet a few days before to address compatibility and any concerns.

Darren was genuinely concerned that he provide to Penny the care and attention she needed throughout the day.
Darren was very friendly and approachable during dropoff and pickup, and our dog seemed to have had a good time. We only scheduled for 1 night so it was a simple and easy process to introduce him to our dog and vice versa. I wish we would have gotten a photo or 2 to know he's doing ok during his stay, but it was only 1 night so it's ok.
Lucy had a great time at Darren's home. She will be back!
Good communication and easy booking. Our pet warmed up to Darren in no time and she was very affectionate with him on return from the walk.

Schedule
Dad works from home so can take care of dogs throughout the day and daughters help after school and weekend on walks playtime and feeding.

Safety, trust & environment
We have fenced front and backyards both big enough for medium dogs to run and play. We walk our dog twice a day and of course make sure water is always available and have access to being outside regularly.
Pets
A typical day
We walk our beagle at least twice a day. Dad in the morning/early afternoon depending on my work day and then in the late afternoon/early evening depending on the temperature. We have modest aged front and backyards to hang out in. We can also play fetch or with chew/tug toys. Any dog staying with us will need to enjoy the company of other dogs.
