I've been caring for dogs and cats since elementary school, learning alongside my mom, who pet sat for family and friends. By the age of fourteen, I was handling pet sitting on my own. I've built a strong network in my hometown community through petsitting, gaining experience with animals of all life stages, personalities, and various breeds. I graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa with a B.S. in Animal Science in 2024. I currently work at the Whatcom Humane Society as an animal care technician.

When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I prioritize providing personalized and attentive care to ensure the well-being of their beloved animals. Before the pet sitting begins, I do a meet and greet with the client to understand the pet's needs, routines, and any specific instructions or preferences. I ensure the animals feeding schedule remains the same. I engage pets in regular exercise and play sessions to keep them mentally stimulated and physically active. Throughout the pet sitting period, I maintain open and transparent communication with the client, providing regular updates, photos, and videos to keep them informed.

Darian was wonderful with our dog Mulligan. he's a relatively new rescue for us, and while he's gained much comfort and confidence since we got him, he's still a bit trepidatious about visitors coming to our house. when Darian came over for a meet and greet, not only did he not bark at all, he almost immediately went right up to her and requested pets. in fact, he basically insisted she hold his head in her hand through the whole visit... not at all normal behavior for him. Darian was prompt when she came to hang out with Mully while we went to vancouver for a concert, and he hung out close to her the whole time we were gone. clearly he appreciated her calm, warm presence, and he was very happy and relaxed when we got home. we will definitely use Darian again to stay with Mulligan, and we recommend her highly. :)
Darian was great! Sent me pictures daily and kept me updated on how things were going. She even offered to come by again to let my dog out if I wasn’t able to. Definitely recommend!
Darian took excellent care of Cedar and our home during our family trip. She provided daily updates and we can tell our pup felt comfortable and happy. We are thrilled to have found Darian, and would absolutely rebook with her next time we head out of town!
Absolutely fantastic sitter. Followed instructions, home was left clean, and most importantly we returned to doggies that were happier and healthier than how we left them. Strongly recommend 👌

Programa
I’m currently working at the Whatcom Humane Society full time as an animal care technician. I work 8 hr shifts with a 1 hr lunch. On my lunch break I will take the dogs for a potty break and/or short walk.
