Pet care experience
I used to work as a Dog Trainer for Dogs Trust but now I have set up my own dog training business called Paws-On Training. I am a member of the APDT and also have a diploma in Canine Care, Welfare and Behaviour. I also have experience with reactive dogs and dogs that are underconfident. I have done 2 Victoria Stilwell courses 'Helping to build any dogs confidence' and 'How to be a good pet neighbour'. Aside from this I have had dogs all of my life and have experience with a variety of breeds from Trailhounds, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, border collies right down to Jack Russells and chihuahuas. I am looking to set my own Dog Training business in the next year or 2. During covid I walked any neighbours dogs that were shielding during the pandemic. If it says I am busy on my calendar, please get in touch because I may have blocked it off due to work commitments, but if your pooches can be left about 4 hours, we can try and work around it. I have done babysitting at parents' houses when I used to be a Nursery Nurse, so used to going around to people's houses to accommodate. I will walk and provide different enrichment activities to wear your dogs out-I may even have time to teach a couple of tricks if your dog is up for it!

I would like to know what your dog is usually like, particularly if they are unsure of people or other dogs. Tell me their usual routine and how long you usually walk them for etc. Any medication they are on or mobility issues.

I will stimulate your Dogs physically as well as mentally with fun enrichment activities and I am able to send photos of our walks and activities if you want to see what we have been up to!
