Hi I’m Danielle, I am a 27 year old stay at home mom located in Thomasville. I left my corporate job in Finance & Insurance to care for pets full time. I have a mid-energy Jack Russell Terrier mix who loves other dogs, a 11 year old Golden Retriever who lounges around and loves to cuddle, a Golden Retriever puppy, and two outdoor cats. I have joined Rover as a way to offer top notch pet care services after my dogs experienced severe anxiety staying in a boarding facility. I have experience with XS breeds like teacup poodles, and XL breeds like Great Danes and Mastiffs. Please take a look at my photo collage where you can see over 70 different breeds I have cared for! I have also been maintaining salt water fish/corals for over 10 years and have experience with sharks, stingrays, eels, and more exotic marine life. I also have experience with cows, horses, and chickens as I grew up with them for many years and used to compete in barrel racing. I am certified in “Knowing Dog’s 101” and am specially trained in dog behavior. I have knowledge and experience with reactive and neurotic dogs that need special care. Before moving to NC I was working full time at a top notch dog resort/training facility for over 2 years. There I spent every day handling dog breeds of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I am knowledgeable in long-term dog care and am used to caring for high maintenance dogs with special needs such as special diets and strict medication schedules. I have worked with a variety of outstanding trainers and am willing to teach your dog basic obedience commands by using positive reinforcement. I have experience with the Humane Society and have closely observed successful training styles for extreme behavior modification and dog/human reactivity. I am willing to go above and beyond to meet your pups special needs and I will care for them as if they were my own. I am also willing to bathe your pup if requested either with my dog shampoo or what you use at home. I am currently living in a a two story home with a large unfenced backyard with a medium sized fenced area for running around/off leash play, and 2 30ft tethers in the front yard. I am home full time throughout the week. I will provide lots of playtime, potty breaks and will adjust to your schedule. I do provide treats, beds, food/water bowls, crates,and toys. I do require you to bring your pups food from home, and provide a copy of their vaccinations. When I do step out for a few hours I crate both of my dogs for the safety of all animals. I can crate your dog upon request, or leave them out as long as they are potty trained and not destructive. I require all dogs boarding or staying for daycare to be vaccinated for Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, and be on a flea/tick preventative.
