Pet care experience
I have grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, my dad always had Labradors and my grandparents Jack Russels and Greyhound/Lurchers. So have a wealth of experience walking and sitting dogs of all shapes sizes and ages. Currently I walk a cheeky Border Collie and day sit a beautiful Jack Russell puppy and a couple times a year Dog sit my dad's beautiful and characterful Golden Lab while they travel. I also occasionally drop in on my friends cats for feed times and a bit of socialising while they are away and occasionally house sit at my mum's as she has always had cats!

Due to my landlord can't currently accommodate at my home, but I think taking care of a pet in their own home and space, where they are most comfortable in their own space and environment is a perfect option for cats and dogs where possible!

I'm very adaptable and flexible in my dog sitting and walking so am able to try cater for whatever needs your pet may need! I'm especially adept with the more nervous pups, being patient and a calming presence around them. The dogs I look after currently are between 6 months (now) and 11 years so all have very different needs. With the elder needing a few different medicines and orally administered metacam when required. Also different breeds from a Jack Labrador, Russell, Greyhound and a Romanian rescue so all different breeds. I am happy to sit or walk bigger breeds although limited experience with bigger dogs barring dog sitting a beautiful New Foundland several years ago But please reach out and we can discuss
A typical day
The 3 dogs I regularly look after are very different in terms of their needs in a day and their exercising needs. Two of them are under a year and a half and the other is senior now but still acts like a pup. So often the days are filled with a good walk and then plenty of play to keep them entertained, I'm a very calm and relaxed person which tends to rub off on the dogs I look after so it often ends with a nap against...or on me!

Availability
I am a freelance illustrator who works from home so I have an adaptable schedule. I currently walk one dog a couple of times a week and dogsit another at least once a week for when they are unable to take their pup to the office. Also I travel back to my family home when they are on holidays to house sit and take care of their yellow Lab.
