Danielle was a lovely person and went above and beyond taking care of my two little dogs this week.

I appreciate that Danelle was able to accommodate me and my dog during the holiday season especially since I was a day late bringing him, however it was not an enjoyable experience for myself or my dog. Upon the day of arrival I was requested to bring my dog to her place of employment which happens to be a dog grooming place as she had an emergency. I totally understand, no biggie. Emergencies happens, it's life. But I whole heartedly believe that my dog was kept boarded at this grooming facility the entire time without human interaction. And that's not what I paid for. My dog "stayed" with Danelle from the 23rd- 27th once he was picked up. I only received one update about my dog and I had to reach out for that update. The 2nd time I reached out for an update, I did not get a response. But perhaps she did not know that I had messaged as it was Christmas day. Additionally I never received any picture updates. This was requested during the time of booking. Once my dog was picked up, he continously cried as if he had not had any human interaction. I picked my dog back up at her groomers shop as requested because apparently he had gotten wet during the storm. I don't find this plausible because not only does my dog not like getting wet and will refuse to go outside when it's raining he's also afraid of thunderstorms. I don't understand how he would have gotten wet. But even if Danelle managed to get him outside during the rainstorm to do his business it does not explain why he is currently backed up. I stopped to get gas and as I walked my dog, he squatted several times but was unable to go. I know it's not because he's traveling. He travels often and this has never been an issue. On top of all of that my dog stinks. He doesn't smell like a wet dog. He smells like he's been cooped up with other dogs for several days. Danelle isn't my usual sitter, but I've also never had a horrible experience with Rover when venturing outside of my usual sitter. I will not book with Danelle again and if you've read this far I suggest that you don't either.
