I have been a house cleaner for 8 years and a pet sitter during this time as well. Being self employed allows more flexibility with pet sitting. Usually I'm away from the house no longer than 4 to 5 hours during the day. More time with your pets is always a good thing!

I am available for overnight pet sitting in your home, where your pet feels most safe and comfortable. I am dependable, trustworthy, and dedicated to the safety of your pets and home. I will happily follow the instructions that you have written down for your pets, including specific feeding schedule, how often you give them exercise, and if they get special treats. I can check your mail, water indoor and outdoor plants, and any other reasonable request. I like keeping things tidy and clean and will clean up after myself during my stay. Know that your pets and home will be well cared for and looked after while you are away.

Does your dog do well on walks? Are short or long walks best? Do they do well with meeting other dogs and people or do they prefer avoiding other dogs? What's your dogs personality like, are they high energy (needs lots of play time and exercise) or more relaxed (ready to just hang out around the house all day, cuddle, and receive belly rubs)? Does your dog know any commands like sit, stay, or roll over? Does your pet have any quirks that I should know about? :) Does your pet have any special needs or medications that you would like me to be aware of?
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs on walks around the neighborhood and in safe environments. I am always aware of my surrounds and how to best keep your pet safe and relaxed. Running and playing around the backyard will be encouraged. Playing fetch, cuddling, lots of ear scratches, and belly rubs are to be expected as well. If you have puzzle toys I would love to help encourage this too. I love watching dogs figure out how to get treats. It's the most adorable thing ever.

I absolutely love animals and they seem to really like me too. Since I was little I have always enjoyed being around them and I think they are amazing creatures. I have experience in overnight pet sitting, dog walking, and check in's for dogs of all sizes and ages. I also have experience checking in on cats as well. I am thankful for the chance to spend time with so many wonderful animals with big personalities. I love getting to know new pets and their pet parents.

Danae was absolutely amazing. Very responsive, gave frequent updates, and was available at last minute which I was so grateful for. Frida can take a while to warm up to certain people, but it did not take her long to warm up to Danae, which I think speaks to her character. I would absolutely have her stay with Frida any time.
We are so fortunate to have had Danae's help with our dog Fennyck. Fenny is a bit shy but he took right to her. She took great care of Fenny and stayed in touch with us (sending lots of photos and updates) during our trip. Not only is she great with animals she will also take care of your space and is very considerate. Would highly recommend Danae for house sitting or helping out with your pet.
Danae goes beyond the requirements of the job in so many ways. She is attune to the needs of the animals she cares for, making sure they receive the love, attention, exercise, and food thed need. She clearly communicates any situations that might need our attention if we're gone, and takes car of the minor issues that can wait four our rreturn. I would recommend her as as pet sitter without hesitation.
