Loving, Reliable Care for Your Cats & Dogs
Animals have always been part of my life. I currently share my home with a senior dog and two much-loved housecats who prefer the comfort of indoor life. Over the years, I’ve cared for countless dogs and cats, most of them rescues, and have helped many strays find safety, care, and eventually settle into loving homes. My love for animals extends beyond your usual pets; I’ve cared for a wounded tortoise, cared for fledglings and an injured baby hedgehog, and even hosted a barn owl who decided my home was a safe haven. These experiences taught me to listen to animals’ needs, to understand their emotions, fears, and personalities. I’ve completed training in dog obedience, animal psychology and behaviour, and have volunteered in the South African bush for animal conservation, an experience that deepened my understanding, respect and love for all creatures. Every animal deserves patience, kindness, and a gentle hand. I bring calm, compassion and understanding to every animal I meet, creating a safe, trusting space for them to feel at ease while you’re away.

Estamos súper felices con la experiencia de Enzo en The Bureau of Temporary Residents y, sobre todo, con el cariño y la profesionalidad de Dagmar. ❤️ Gracias a su experiencia, ha sabido entender perfectamente cómo es Enzo, su carácter y sus necesidades, haciendo que se sintiera como en casa desde el primer momento. Su habitación, con aire acondicionado y totalmente adaptada para su estancia, contaba con un parque y muchísimos detalles pensados para que estuviera cómodo, tranquilo y feliz. Dagmar ha respetado perfectamente su rutina y todos los pequeños detalles de cuidado que le indicamos, dándonos muchísima tranquilidad. Además, durante su estancia había otro gatito con un carácter muy parecido al de Enzo, y supo ver que podían congeniar. Los presentó cuidadosamente y han pasado toda la semana ¡jugando y pasándolo pipa juntos! 🐾🥰 Se nota que no es simplemente un alojamiento para mascotas, sino un lugar donde cada animal recibe un cuidado exclusivo, especial y lleno de cariño. Sin duda volveríamos a confiar en Dagmar para cuidar de Enzo y la recomendamos de todo corazón a cualquiera que busque un lugar realmente especial para su mascota. ❤️
My cat was really good taken care off. Received also plenty of feedback from Dagmar during her stay there. Pictures and videos that put me totally at ease. My cat was in really good hands! Thank you again Dagmar ❤️

Hemos dejado a trasto 4 días con Dagmar y ha vuelto feliz, renovado. Es un perro senior que casi no ve ni oye y ya hay que tener cuidado con que se desorienta etc pero con Dagmar ha estado muy estimulado , se nota que se ha divertido. Además era su primera vez conviviendo con gatos y ha ido genial! Dagmar nos ha informado de todo en cada momento y le ha cuidado mucho, tiene muchos conocimientos sobre animales y eso te deja mucho más tranquila. Recomendable 100%.

Programa
I’m home most of the day and spend plenty of time outdoors with my 14-year-old dog, Kiana. Every morning we enjoy an hour’s walk to the beach, and in the evenings we take a gentle 20-minute stroll. During the day we’re often out and about, and if any visiting dogs need extra toilet breaks or short walks, I’m always happy to take them out.

I live just outside the centre of Fuengirola, surrounded by green areas and walking paths. There’s a lovely 20-minute walk along the river that leads straight to the beach and if your dog enjoys swimming as much as mine, they’ll love having a dip in the sea. At home, I live in a bright penthouse with a secure 120 m² terrace where my senior dog and cats love to relax and sunbathe. Inside, there’s a ceiling-high cat tower with hammocks and cosy nooks where visiting cats can settle comfortably. Cats can stay safely indoors, or enjoy some sunshine on a long lead for added security. Dogs are welcome on the sofa and bed unless you prefer them crated. My home is calm, welcoming, and designed with every animal’s comfort in mind. Animal safety is always my top priority, every pet in my care is treated with the same patience, kindness, and attention as my own.

As my own dog is now a senior, our daily rhythm is a bit calmer and more gentle. A typical day starts with an hour’s walk to the beach, enjoying the beach, sea air, a dip in the sea when the mood strikes and taking things at an easy pace. During the day we wander through the green areas around my neighbourhood, follow the river path, and take plenty of relaxed sniffing breaks. Evenings are quieter with a short stroll and cosy time at home. When my dogs were younger, they came with me on mountain walks and longer hikes, and I’ve raised all my dogs and cats from puppies and kittens. I love teaching tricks and giving animals mental stimulation, yes even the cats. If I’m caring for a high-energy dog or a puppy, I always have a tennis ball or Frisbee ready and I’m happy to adapt the day so they’re active, engaged, and pleasantly tired by bedtime.

My cats usually keep their distance, but I always make sure all animals feel secure. I also need to know their medication routine, feeding schedule, and any allergies or foods they must avoid, including treats. These details help me keep your pet’s day consistent and comfortable. With the right information from you, I can tailor the day so your pet feels relaxed, confident, and well cared for. My own dog is reactive, so I’m very experienced in reading canine body language, managing situations and spotting early signs of stress.
