At Cookie's Companions, safety always comes first! We try to meet all of our clients prior to the stay to be sure that pets are comfortable, but we do take same day visits on a case by case basis. If I am dropping in, I follow owner instructions carefully and I come with dog treats at the ready to let your little one know that I am a friend! When walking, leashes are always used, and with large dogs I usually have a second leash that hooks to my waist, just as an added security measure. I always use sidewalks and safety crossings as well.

Leave anything that will help comfort your pet while you are away, including their food (you don't want to change it suddenly or it leads to stomach problems), treats, or any toys they prefer. Let me know if they have any special needs or medicine and anything else I can do to make them comfortable and safe!
A typical day
We love to play with pets of all sizes in all sorts of ways! We can throw toys and run around with them in your back yard or at a nearby dog park of your choosing! (We have doggy seatbelts for the journey of course)

Hello pet parents! My name is Cynthia, and as a pet owner, I understand that as much as we want to bring our pets with us everywhere we go, that's not always possible. Which is why I created Cookie's Companions! ❤️🐕 I have always had a passion for animals! ❤️I grew up fostering pets, and many rescues are frightened. So, I've gotten very good at reading their body language and comforting them when they are upset. I have volunteered with the Humane Society and other rescue programs and I have experience with a variety of animals, both large and small. I am a former medical professional that has experience with veterinary first aid and I am also familiar with multiple dog training techniques. My husband and I run my business full time, so I'm always here when a furry friend is in need, and your little ones will never be left without cuddles! 😁

Cynthia was amazing with letting me book last minute. My babies had a wonderful stay!
Nicky enjoyed his stay with Cynthia's family a lot!! He's a high-energy pup and he craves for attention (a typical Aussie), and he got all the exercise and attention he needed during the stay. And Cynthia was super nice and understanding! I had to push back the pickup date a couple times, and she kindly modified that for me.
Wonderful comfort knowing Cynthia and family will take great care of Denver when on trips far away !
