Energetic and caring animal lover!
Pet care experience
Hi everyone! My name is Cristina M. and I am a recent college graduate and have had dogs all my life and love cats as well! I just rescued and adopted my own personal dog, a 16 year old miniature pinscher named Tarzan. I am very patient, kind, and will treat your pet like they are mine! I am also very organized and am good at following instructions. Having a senior dog, I am comfortable giving medicines and I have a lot of patience. I have lots of experience with all breeds and ages of cats and dogs. Do not hesitate to reach out with questions! I am looking forward to connecting with y'all! Thanks!

Cristina is the best cat sitter we've ever had. She clearly loves animals, she asked thoughtful questions when meeting us and gave great updates throughout the days of her cat sitting for us. She really went above and beyond for our kitties, Fiona and Moses, and we will certainly turn to Cristina for our future cat sitting needs. If you want a sitter who is conscientious, attentive, and will give your furry family members the love they deserve, look no further!

Jude was a bit scared at first and hid in his kennel, but Cristina was really patient with him and they grew to be close friends! Thanks again Cristina

Another great experience with Cristina!

Cristina was great!! She was very communicative and provided plenty of photos of my little cat. Having her check on him gave me peace of mind while out of town! Definitely would recommend!

Safety, trust & environment
I always put a new dog on a leash and harness/collar when going outside even if it’s a fenced in area to determine if they are able to escape or slide through the fence or gate. Safety is important for me and the dog. For cats I am very careful to close the door behind me so they do not sneak out! The door is always locked when I leave. I always will communicate when I’m on the way and when I’m about to leave the visit. Communication is very important to me.
Information Cristina M. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should know before hand. This also includes allergies and how they do with other dogs, cats, adults, and children! Also if there are any neighborhood animals I should know about while on a walk!
A typical day
During drop in visits, we will spend some time outside going potty, topping off food and water, and playing/getting some love the rest of the time! On walks I like to talk to the dog and point out the nature around us. I like to walk where there is a lot of green vegetation and shade. Your dog’s safety is my number one priority. For cats, I like to play with their toys (especially wands!) and give them lots of pets and love! If there is a treat puzzle or laser for cats, I am happy to get those set up as well.

Availability
I am really passionate about animals as I volunteer for a rescue and love to spend my time around animals when possible! I have my own senior dog and have a soft spot for the seniors. Don’t be afraid to reach out and we can figure something out! I can come check before or after work and anytime during the weekends.
