Pet care experience
Part-Time Sitter, Full-Time Pet Mom
Hi there! I’ve been caring for pets since I was eight years old What started as helping family friends’ pets turned into a lifelong passion, and today I bring over 20 years of hands-on experience to every animal I meet. I’ve personally owned and cared for cats, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and dogs, and I’m experienced with pets who have medical needs or behavioral quirks. I also worked at PetSmart, where I was trained and certified to care for birds, reptiles, cats, dogs, and fish — so I’m confident with all types of animal care and body language. What you can expect: • Compassionate, individualized care • Comfort with shy, elderly, or medically complex pets • A calm, safe environment and a gentle touch • A real understanding of animal communication and boundaries I’m committed to helping your pet feel safe, seen and loved.

Safety, trust & environment
Trust, safety, and cleanliness are always my top priorities — whether I’m caring for pets in my own space or yours. I make sure every environment is safe and pet-friendly by removing hazards, securing anything they shouldn’t get into, and maintaining a clean space. I check and refresh food and water regularly, follow all care instructions to the letter, and ensure pets have plenty of opportunities to relieve themselves, exercise, and feel calm and comfortable. When I’m house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect and care I give your pets. I’m also comfortable administering medication and supporting pets with special routines or health needs. You can count on me to keep your animals safe, happy, and cared for like they’re my own.
Ratings and reviews
Cristal stayed with our dog who can be a little reactive and wary of people. She was great and our dog warmed right up to her. Cristal was very communicative and left the house super clean.

We usually dont need a dog sitter or a kennel, but we had a special occasion where we would be gone for 10-11 hours, so we booked Cristal with the Rover app far in advance. She came to the house a few days before to meet Cully, our Border Collie, and to receive instructions. She and her fiancé, Aiden, work together as a team when they house and pet sit. They took her on a walk and played ball with her, sent us some photos by text and let us know how things were going. They left the house clean and Cully seemed calm and pleased with her day when we returned home. I would probably request thus team again if we need a pet sitter.
I was very nervous leaving my older pup for the first time in years, but Cristal made it very easy. She kept great care of both my dogs for the week we were gone. She also takes the best pictures!!! I never had such good photos of my boys! Thank You, Cristal!

Cristal did an excellent job caring for my old girl Nani -- will definitely ask for her services agsin!

Cristal & Aiden were amazing! I was nervous leaving my elderly & diabetic cat for 5 days but it was quickly clear that my cat was very happy, well loved and 100% safe with them. It’s obvious they are true animal lovers and they even discovered she likes to watch bird & fish YouTube videos. Also, Aiden’s photos are the best I have of her - he has a real gift for animal photography. They were also very diligent about her medications, including giving her insulin shots twice a day. Needless to say, I highly recommend them!

Cristal and Aiden were fabulous house and pet sitters while we went to Europe for Christmas. They sent pictures every day, took our little Margot for walks and on errands and we returned to a clean home and happy dog. We’ve found trusted partners to allow us the freedom to go away.

Schedule
Pet care is part of my everyday life — it’s second nature to me. I currently have 3 indoor cats and care for 5 outdoor cats/strays daily, along with a dog who’s part of my regular routine. Feeding, grooming, giving attention, and monitoring health are just part of my flow, not chores — it’s what I love to do. Because caring for animals is already deeply woven into my lifestyle, I’m used to balancing multiple pet needs with ease and consistency. Whether it’s early morning feedings, evening walks, or checking in on animals throughout the day, I make sure each pet gets the time, love, and attention they deserve. This makes integrating your pet into my schedule seamless and stress-free.
