I grew up with dogs but also have had dogs consistently for the past 5 years that I've been the sole caretaker of. I have a 20 pound Chihuahua rescue, Coach, who has lived with me in both Brooklyn and Long Island. When I met my (now) husband that brought Kodi, an 80 pound German Shepherd into my life, who we sadly lost earlier this year but had a beautiful long life. Between these two dogs I've encountered leash issues (Coach, he's not great on a leash but we work on it every day) and health issues with our senior German Shepherd, Kodi. I'm used to big dogs and small dogs and their different personalities - anxious, sweet - and dogs at different stages in their life. I work from home and am looking to do drop in visits for dogs in the neighborhood since I am able and love dogs!
