Pet care experience
I graduated from vet tech school and became licensed 10 years ago, have experience in general practice, and spent the last 8 years in emergency and critical care medicine. I grew up with dogs, cats, and a variety of other animals and looked after pets of family friends for over a decade. I currently have a dog and cat who get along well with other dogs. Because of my experience in veterinary medicine, I feel comfortable medicating dogs or cats if needed. I am cool, calm, and collected in a crisis and feel confident that I would be able to determine if or when a pet is in need of urgent medical care. I am able to communicate with owners as often as wanted and look forward to meeting all your furry babies!

As always, Courtney took great care of Pandora but this time she went above and beyond when Pandora suffered a seizure while in her care. Courtney administered recovery medications with professional care and ensured that our little girl was safe during the recovery period. Many thanks to Courtney for keeping us updated through the ordeal. We highly recommend her.
Courtney was great with our pups. There were some unexpected fireworks in the neighborhood and she knew just what to do. 10/10 would recommend!

A typical day
I have a very energetic small dog who absolutely LOVES to chase a ball around and play with any dog that comes over. I also live in a neighborhood that’s flat and perfect for walking. I live within 10 minutes walking distance of Battery park and love to walk there when it’s nice out!

Availability
I work full time 3 days a week out of the house but have availability most weekends! I typically wake up mid morning, take care of tasks around the house, sometimes run errands if needed, but most of the time just relax at home on my days off.
