We have owned dogs for 24 years. Kris was our first, she was adopted by my husband's family around Christmas time and lived a long happy life into her senior years! We rescued our second dog named Jett when he was 4 months old, he was a lab mix who was just the best dog and lived a long, adventurous life. People would say he "was the best dog". Currently, we have Bo and Duke who are both Lab-mixes with lots of fun energy and are both 5 years old. Bo is 95 lbs and Duke is 65 lbs. Before we moved to Alabama, they used to love their doggy day care and boarding facility and so did we. They made friends and loved going there. We have used multiple training techniques with all our dogs over the years...training is a constant thing. We have had family and friends’ dogs of all sizes over to play and they love it. Bo and Duke were adopted at 8 weeks, so we have puppy and senior dog experience. We walk our dogs twice a day and they love the adventures. I can administer oral medicines if needed but do not have experience with injections. Prefer to watch dogs with low anxiety and low aggression - dogs with lots of energy are welcomed! I love to walk dogs and watch their enjoyment as they encounter new sights and smells. I like to make the dogs homemade yogurt and peanut butter frozen treats for the summer months and my daughter makes homemade dog treats with healthy ingredients the dogs love!
