Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Claudia, I am a remote worker that likes to pet sit on the side. As a remote worker I am able to be at your home throughout the weekday to attend to your pet’s need. I have 3 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and sizes. I was a volunteer at my local animal shelter where I gained experience interacting with all different breeds of dogs. Even though most of my sits are with dogs, I do have a special place for cats in my heart as I use to have a cat. Things that I do to ensure a good quality sit: * I have a questionnaire that I ask for all my pet sits where I ask the owner to describe a day in the life of their pet(s) and how I should replicate that structure while they’re gone. * You will get updates from me with a picture of your pet(s), the frequency of the updates is dependent on the preference of the owner. * My favorite part of a dog sit is going on walks so if that is required I will have no problem getting our daily walk. If your pet is not able to go on walks, I can have playtime with them inside or outside. * One of the biggest compliments I get is how clean I leave a home, I will treat your home with upmost respect and keep it tidy and clean during my stay. * I have experience administering oral medications

Claudia is the best! She cared for my two cats and dog for almost two months while I was traveling internationally, and she made the whole process easy and as stress-free as possible! Great communication and I returned home to 3 happy and healthy fur babies!
I highly recommend Claudia as a pet caregiver! While out of town, Claudia looked after my 3 pets and took wonderful care of them. She was also very good at tending to their needs and regularly checked in with me on any concerns. Above all, I appreciated all the pictures of my dog and cats being happy and taken care of by Claudia!
When Claudia watched our dog, Piper, we had no worries because she has a heart for dogs and treats them like her own. A seasoned volunteer at a local rescue, Claudia knows how to interact with a variety of dogs and is adept at handling their unique quirks. Communication was excellent and we received updates and photos daily. Piper loves Claudia and Claudia goes the extra mile ~literally ~ by taking our energetic pup on several walks each day. We have total trust in Claudia and are grateful for her help.
If you’re looking for someone that is responsible and reliable, she is the one! Has taken care of my 3 dogs multiple times and have had peace of mind knowing they’re very well taken care of.

When I walk a dog, I check that the pet is not injured or feeling unwell. I have my own bag with poop bags, water bowl and snacks. I do take notice if they are not feeling well on the walk (overheated, throwing up, abnormal stool) and I will let the owner know to see if there’s anything I can do to help them at that moment.

A typical day
I like making sure the dog gets a minimum of two 15-minute walks a day. If they have any favorite toys then I will dedicate some time to play with them. If I sit down to watch TV or read a book, I like having them cuddle with me.

Availability
As a remote worker, I am available most of the day. In the afternoon and weekdays is when they will get more cuddles and attention as there is more flexibility during those times of my schedule.
