Hiya, the name’s Claudia! I work as a wildlife scientist/graduate student, and have adopted cats and dogs in my life. My travel schedule doesn’t allow me to own a pet anymore, but I would love to care for yours! Due to my background I have experience with both puppies, small dogs, and large dogs — typically up to Great Dane size! I’ve trained my own dogs and helped train the pets of people I know personally. Animal care and nutrition is not a new realm for me. During sitting, I willing to stay or not stay at the property of the owner upon request. We simply have a property of our own so I don’t mind pet sitting here! For transparency we currently do have a cat in our house, who is verified friendly with other pets, but for comfortability we keep our cat in a separate part of the house to make clients feel relief if the pet is hosted in our home. Dogs and cats are built differently, and I accept both high energy cattle dogs or older dogs/cats that may just want to lounge simply. I do love hiking on weekends, so if you’re okay with your companion being taken on walks, please let me know!
