I prioritise safety, trust, and a calm environment for each pet in my care. I only work with friendly, social dogs who are comfortable around other dogs and people, ensuring a relaxed and positive experience. I’ll always check that doors are securely locked before leaving and do my best to keep to your dog’s normal routine (within reason). Walks: I commit to walking the full duration of the booking so dogs get the exercise they need. I remain mindful of each dog’s habits — for example, avoiding areas where food might be present if they’re prone to scavenging. I only offer solo dog walking to give each dog my full attention and ensure a calm, safe walk. If you have two dogs that live together — I’m happy to walk them both at the same time. If it’s too hot, I won’t offer standard dog walking to protect their well-being. If owners are not at home, I’ll offer a short toilet break walk followed by indoor play or cuddle time for the remainder of the booking. If owners are home, I’ll suggest skipping the walk entirely and will void my cancellation policy to start the refund process. Before leaving, I’m happy to refill your dog’s water bowl (especially in hot weather or if it’s empty) and provide feeding if requested. Drop-in Visits: I provide a balance of playtime, attention, and care tailored to each dog’s needs. I’m comfortable with all access arrangements (spare key, lock code, etc.) and follow your instructions closely. I lock up carefully before leaving and can also feed your dog and refresh their water bowl if it’s low or the weather is hot. House Sitting: I treat your home with respect, keeping it clean and tidy, and only using what’s necessary. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine for walking, feeding, toilet breaks, and bedtime so they feel settled and secure while you’re away.
