Doggy daycare in West LA
Hi there! My husband, our dog, and I live in West LA and are offering doggy daycare services. Our dog, Butter, is a rescue Great Pyrenees - she’s sweet and gentle as can be. Butter is my sixth dog; growing up, my family had four, and in my adult life, I’ve had two. I’ve also fostered several dogs over the past few years. I have extensive experience raising and caring for them at every life stage and through numerous health conditions. Dogs bring such joy to the world! We’d love to help care for other dogs during weekdays at our home in West LA. We have a large, fenced back yard complete with trees and shade, as well as a nice air-conditioned house. My dog, Butter, is a sweet and social gentle giant who’s at her best when around dog friends. We’d love to meet you!

Claire was able to accommodate my dog for a last minute stay and was easy to coordinate with. My dog had a great time and I highly recommend.
Claire was a wonderful sitter! I have two dogs, a senior mixed breed and a younger Lab mix, and she was fantastic with both of them, even though they have significantly different needs and energy levels. She was attentive, responsible, communicative, and clearly comfortable with both of our dogs. Her dog, Butter, is also incredibly sweet and well behaved. She was calm and gentle around my dogs, and I felt completely comfortable having all three of them together. I would absolutely recommend Claire to anyone looking for a sitter!
Claire is an amazing caretaker for my and my friends' dogs. Whenever I'm headed out of town or would like my dog to get some extra enrichment, Claire is the person I trust most. She is thoughtful, responsible, and super competent. Her dog Butter is the sweetest and gets along with any dog. Highly recommend!

I work from home and have a flexible role that allows me to give plenty of care and attention to Butter and any other dogs in my care.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced back yard with grass, multiple trees, and bushes for shade. I often work outside with my laptop while my dog lounges in the yard. We also have an air conditioned house.
Pets
A typical day
We love routine as well as structured play! When permitting, we go for a leisurely morning walk through our neighborhood. After that, the day often consists of lots of lounging in the yard, play time, and mid-day naps! After dinner is served, an evening walk is a great way to round out the day.
