Experienced dog care & peace of mind
I am an experienced dog handler (full-time DBS checked teacher) who works as a dog walker/sitter ( in others' homes) during the School Summer and other holidays. I have successfully completed an animal First Aid and CPR course. I have rehomed several dogs from rescue charities such as Tia Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue and the Retired Greyhounds Trust. Currently, I have one dog, a friendly rescued greyhound called Aramis, rehomed from Jerry Green. Also an allotment holder, with an interest in growing organically, this means I often bake homemade dog treats with honey and organic vegetables as an additional treat during the Summer months when produce is available. Whilst I'm a houndie person, I have no breed prejudices - dogs respond to pack leadership and loving but firm training. I DO prefer that dogs are responsibly neutered/spayed and are up to date with healthcare and vaccinations, however. I available any days over the Summer holidays, including the August Bank Holiday Weekend

Thank you Claire for looking after our two greyhounds again. As soon as we parked outside their tails started to wag and they dragged me up the drive to your house. I have no doubt that they are happy and safe while they are with you, look forward to seeing you again in the future.
Thank you very much to Claire for looking after our two greyhounds. As soon as I met Claire I could tell that my two dogs would be well looked after, and I could see how important her own dogs are to her. We have been away for three weeks and Claire has had no problems and I think our dogs have enjoyed being in a home with other greyhounds. Even though we were in Australia, Claire has made sure she kept us informed and sent lots of photographs, showing that the dogs were happy. We will definitely ask Claire again in the future.
