I've cared for a 8-year-old Boston Terrier since I got him as a small puppy. On walks, I like to find some open fields and run alongside them so that they get some fresh air. I'm also a big believer in letting animals be themselves but implementing discipline if necessary. I like to reward good behavior with treats. Interacting with the animals is the most important aspect of dog-sitting, in my opinion. I love teaching new tricks and helping the owners of the animals come home to their beloved pup or cat with no trouble. I also believe that getting to know the dogs or cats is important to build trust with the sitter so that the experience is much less stressful for the animal. I have a space for dogs outside of my apartment complex that is easy to get to from my building. I have blankets in the apartment if your fur baby gets chilly or just needs a spot to relax. I always keep everything off the floors and I like to keep a clean space in the apartment as well.
