Trustworthy, reliable, and caring
Pet care experience
I have taken care of both dogs and cats as a pet sitter in other people's homes. I attended vet tech school before switching to human healthcare. I have befriended extremely shy pets with love and patience. I have even raised my own 20-year-old cat from a 3-week-old kitten.
Reviews
I have known Chris for more than 20 years. She is an extremely responsible, intelligent, and compassionate person. All of my pets have always loved her--even ones that were usually too shy or skittish to allow anyone else near them. I consider my pets to be my children (in lieu of actual kids), and I trust Chris with their care with zero hesitation. Anyone who hires Chris for pet care would easily see not only how seriously she takes any job, but also how genuinely she loves all animals and gives them the best possible care.

Safety, trust & environment
I will happily come over to feed your cat or dog, and take your dog out to potty, play with them, or even things like provide comfort if they get upset during fireworks or a thunderstorm. I am always sure to leave the home exactly as I find it (unless the pets need cleaning up after, of course!). I always double check that doors are locked, and will send you updates as frequently as you'd like.
Information Christine R. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about any concerns you have for your pet, or if they have any medications or special needs. I want to make sure I'm providing the best possible experience for you both, so feel free to provide any information that will help me keep your pet comfortable and happy.
A typical day
On a typical day, I'll be there to do whatever your pet needs--feeding, providing fresh water, playing with them with their favorite toys or enrichment activity, spending quality time, and providing exercise. I aim for all pets to have mental stimulation and an outlet for their energy, based of course on that pet's individual needs.

Availability
I am currently between jobs, as I just moved back to Maryland and I am finding my place in the healthcare industry again. All the more time to spend with your furbabies! I am currently available any time of the day or night to take care of both dogs and cats.
