Safety, trust & environment

I treat every pet as family and as if they are my own. And as an engineer, I am very detailed oriented, so feel free to make me a list / schedule of what your pet’s care looks like. Number one goal is to make sure you, as the owner, are comfortable with me and are heard, so I can give your pet(s) the best quality care. Happy to do a Meet & Greet prior to confirming the booking.

Information Christina R. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know ahead of time: (1) behavioral problems, such as, bite risk, certain areas your pet doesn’t want to be touch and will react / bite, reactive to adults / children / other pets. Does your pet have any history of biting? Would like to know ahead of time :) (2) if your pet(s) are sick and / or highly contagious. This may include but not limited to: worms, kennel cough, parvo, ringworm, feline panleukopenia, upper respiratory infection (URI), Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis FHV-1 (cat herpes), etc. Depending on the sickness / virus. / disease, I maybe unable to watch your pet due my line of work and interaction with other pets. Depending what it is, I may still be able to watch your pet and administer medication, as needed. Want to make sure everyone’s pet is safe - yours, mine, and others. (3) if you plan to extend your vacation / travel dates. Travel can also be unpredictable, and flights are sometimes canceled or delayed, if you think that you might need help beyond the date scheduled we will need to come up with the backup plan in advance. Depending on my schedule, I may or may not be available if you need to extend your dates. (4) should I expect anyone (service / maintenance personnel, family, friends, neighbors, construction crew, etc) coming over to the house or into the backyard while I’m staying in your home? Anyone going coming and going, so I can make sure backyard gates are properly closed and that there won’t be a potential bite scenario. (5) are your pets are not up-to-date with their shots? I work with a lot of pets and want to make sure I’m not interacting with a pet that can cause someone else’s pet to get sick. Will need to know ahead of time if your pet is out of date for major shots are are living with a lifelong illness/ disease / virus, such as, cat herpes, upper respiratory disease, etc. Feel free to provide me a list of what special needs they need & are used to. ≽(•⩊ •マ≼

Pet care experience

Hi pets & pet parents! I’m your friendly, artistic pet sitter, Christina, here with 22-years of pet care experience. I’ve owned and fostered cats & dogs. I volunteer at the shelter. I am very comfortable with senior pet care, as well as, young animals. I grew up around a variety of different pets, such as, dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, rabbits & horses. So being around animals & taking care of them comes very naturally to me. I am also a pretty active person and enjoy hiking. So I’ll have no issues taking your dog for a walk when they need it.

We cannot recommend Christina highly enough! Looking after four dogs is no small feat, but she handled our pack with such ease that we were able to fully enjoy our trip to Zion without a single worry. Her communication was excellent, and the frequent updates kept our minds at ease. She truly goes above and beyond—she is a talented artist and even gave us the most adorable drawings of our pups! If you need someone who is professional, communicative, and genuinely loves animals, she is your girl. We will definitely be booking her again!

Christina was extremely appreciated by both my husband and myself. From the moment of the meet and greet the day prior to Christina pet sitting for Abby and Maggie to the actual day of sitting Christina was so friendly with them. She was so conscientious, taking notes for their wellbeing. We'd highly give Christina a 5 Star Review! We hope she's available when we need a pet sitter in the future!

Christina has been thoroughly attentive and passionate throughout her time in my home and has sent extensive proof. She went the extra mile for us without being asked multiple times and it feels like we can't pay her enough for all she does. Wonderful sitter for any kind of pet. <3

Christina is a fabulous cat sitter and person! We had a great meet and great where she played with both cats, made sure she understood their feeding routine, asked about treats/toys/cat brushes, and she is the only pet sitter we've had through Rover who asked about emergency care (if needed), so she could be prepared if necessary. She spent much more time than the "required" 30 minutes per visit and took a ton of photos and videos. We could tell she spent time playing with them and didn't just rush in and rush out. The litter boxes were kept very clean and she has a great sense of humor, always letting us know that the cats left "presents" in the box each day. She was comfortable adding supplements to their food, which vary day to day. Christina is also familiar with RVs/travel trailers and took great care of ours. She also went above and beyond by washing their bowls, vacuuming up cat hair and dried cat food, and cleaning up a hair ball. One of our cats vomited up her food and she made sure to let me know and even followed up after we got back to make sure she was ok. Christina is also an incredibly talented artist. She left us some drawings of both cats that we will cherish forever. She allowed us to have a great Thanksgiving vacation with no doubts that our cats were being well taken care of. We will absolutely use her again and again!!
