Availability
I work from home, so your dog won't spend weekdays alone. Potty break can happen as often as the dog needs them during the week.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog is welcome on the furniture, but if that's not allowed in your house, I'll be happy to stick to your rules here too! It's important to us that your dog feels at home, so nobody gets crated unless it's part of their routine at their own home. (I do have a crates on-hand, so you can feel free to leave yours at home if it makes it easier for you.) I have experience with elderly dogs, dogs with allergies, special diets, cancer, potty issues, and seizures. So I'll be happy to take care of any special needs in a calm, comforting and loving manner.

Information Christina O. would like to know about your pet
If your dog hasn't stayed with me before, it's important that you and your dog come over and meet us all before a stay. I want to make sure that everyone is happy and feels comfortable! I don't accept bookings with new dogs with less than a day's notice. If your dog has separation anxiety, food issues, potty issues, or any other special behavior, just let me know! It won't be a problem (NO judgment here, I've been through it all--with my own dogs and visiting dogs), I just need to know what to prepare for.
A typical day
I have an open floorplan house and are very close to the dogs all day. I take regular breaks to play with the dogs and keep them stimulated between nap times. I do not have a fenced yard, but I do have 2 100' lines they can run on if your dog is used to being in a fenced area.

Easy-going, quiet home
Pet care experience
In over 10 years of pet-sitting, I've been able to make over 220 dog and cat friends with boarding and daycare. I would love to give your pet(s) a second home while you are away, so you can enjoy your trip, stress-free. That's why I started hosting dogs myself in 2016. After a bad kennel experience with my own dog, I tried Rover and couldn't have been happier. There's nothing like having your pets in a family home rather than a crate in a concrete room. I carry pet care insurance for peace-of-mind for all of us! Please note that I don't do Saturday drop offs, pickups, or meet-and-greets.
Reviews

Christina did a wonderful job caring for my pup, Kyak, for a full week while I was out of town. Kyak can be a bit shy and has separation anxiety, but she took to Christina (and her own very sweet dog Spruce) right away and I could tell she felt right at home. Christina was an excellent communicator throughout, and very patient with my own nervousness about leaving my anxious pup (first time using Rover). By the time I picked Kyak up, she lay right down at Christina's feet and didn't want to come home! I'm grateful to have found such a thoughtful, expert sitter; we look forward to working with her again soon.

Christina was fantastic with my dog, Pfeiffer! From the initial meet-and-greet to the final pickup, I knew Pfeiffer was in great hands. She kept me updated with texts and photos of how Pfeiffer was doing throughout the weekend. He clearly felt right at home! Thank you again, Christina. We will be back!

Christina is great with our dog who needs extra reassurance at times! She is patient and encouraging. Merrie

The best! Super sweet and very communicative.
