Hi there, my name is Chrissy, and I'd be thrilled to take care of your pets! I started working with Rover in 2018 to motivate myself to get out of the house on dog walks and have expanded my services over time to offer house sitting as well. I pride myself on being an excellent sitter and a thorough communicator. I promise to treat your pets just like my own. I grew up around dogs, cats, lizards, and snakes. I currently have one dog, a giant Newfy named Kaiju. I'm comfortable helping out pets that are older, those with special needs, or those that require medication, so don't be afraid to reach out if your pet has unique circumstances. (I've also found that I am quite good with dogs that are skittish or unable to be around other dogs. If that sounds like your pup, don't hesitate to contact me. I know it takes a while for some pets to adjust. I'm willing to sit and work with them.) I love to make homemade dog treats for all my friend's furry companions and would love to spoil your dog with them as well (barring any health/allergy concerns, and always with your permission, of course!). I also have an intense love for cats. I lost my kitty last year unfortunately, but we had a lovely 19 years together. If your feline friend needs a sitter to check on them, I'd be happy for the opportunity. I have an Instagram on which I post pictures of the pets I walk or watch. I currently don't advertise for boarding at my house, but I do have a fenced in front and back yard and plenty of space in the house for a dog. I'd be willing to potentially host dogs that are comfortable around my giant Newfy, as well as older children.
