Love is a Four-Legged Word!
Pet care experience
“If I could be half the person my dog is, I’d be twice the human I am.” –Charles Yu Hi, I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 30 years of experience caring for pets—11 of those years professionally. I've cared for everything from sled dog teams to horses to chickens but dogs are truly my passion, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than spending my days walking, boarding, and providing them with the love and attention they deserve. I am currently certified in Dog Massage, Dog Training Methods to Stop Barking, and Pet Choking. My home is a doggy playground, complete with two fenced yards (one in front and one in back) for playtime and located right next to the beautiful trails of Illahee Park for long, scenic walks. Dogs are allowed on couches and beds here - your furry friend will feel right at home with me! Boarding and House sitting bookings come with a framed fantasy pet portrait of your pet(s) so if you have a preference for your pet paw-trait, please let me know! A little more about us: My husband and I moved here from Issaquah when we bought our first home in Bremerton in July 2023. I didn't bring my clients with me because of the distance, even though I wish I could have! I "retired" at that time from dog sitting but we started doing it again occasionally for friends, neighbors, and family and we realized how much we really missed doing it! We love it here in Kitsap County. So, while I'm not new to professional pet care, I'm newish to the Rover platform - if you have any concerns about my pricing or availability, please don’t hesitate to reach out. My rates reflect the quality of care I provide and are set to ensure my services are worthwhile. That said, I understand the Rover platform can occasionally create confusion, so I’m happy to discuss any unique circumstances you may have.
Reviews

Christina is always gracious and flexible, and so good to my pups, I can tell they always have such a great time when they are there! Thank you Christina!

Christina's house is full of puppy love! She's so warm and welcoming, and my dogs felt the same way. I could tell from the photos she sent that they were relaxed and happy. Thank you Christina for your awesome care, and for having such a loving environment for my pups to hang out in.

She completely ghosted me. I had my booking confirmed over a month prior. She didn't respond when I tried to contact her the day before to confirm my appointment and she didn't show up to pick up my dog the day of. I still haven't heard anything from her. I am contacting Rover to get my money back.

Christina is our favorite, George gets so excited when we pull up to her house he forgets all about me. He loves playing with her dogs and any other dogs she might have at doggy daycare and I also love that she's great at communicating and sending updates.

I have two friendly dogs at home who love company and are always up for playtime. They spend a lot of time having fun in our yard, but we also enjoy occasional trips to the local off-leash park. For more adventurous outings, we take longer hikes through the beautiful trails at Illahee and Dickerson, giving them plenty of exercise and exploration.

A typical day
While boarded at my home, your dog(s) will enjoy plenty of exercise and playtime, including fetch in our large fenced yard and hikes at Illahee State Park and Dickerson Falls. They'll also get lots of cuddles, love, and attention, making their stay both active and cozy. We frequently have new interactive toys for them to play with, as well as bubbles to chase, and your doggie will get a daily massage. Boarding and Housesitting bookings come with a framed fantasy pet paw-trait of your pet(s).
