Hello, I am a dog lover/owner (my baby passed away in 2021) and an animal lover in general. I live on a small farm with lots of room to explore. I love all animals especially dogs. Dogs are truly a blessing and I am so happy when I get to be around them. I love taking dogs for walks or going on long hikes with them. I can take it slow or we can run the whole time. Please let me know what your dog prefers and I will be happy to accommodate. I do not have a fully fenced yard but I have old sheep pastures that are fenced for play time. One thing I should mention is that my daughter was recently bit by a dog (not a Rover dog) so she is scared of aggressive dogs. For that reason, I do not think my place is a good fit for dogs with any aggression problems. I want to have a comfortable environment for both my family and the dog(s) that are here. I work/own a farm and used to work for Petsmart. I have years and years of experience with all breads (especially large breeds) and I understand that pets are part of the family. I will give your fur babies the love and attention they deserve. I can cater to all special needs or special requests. I work from home and I spend all my time with the dog(s) in my care. I take in one dog at a time, or multiple dogs of from the same home. I avoid mixing dogs at all costs but 1-2 times a year an emergency happens where there might be a brief overlap. I have been dog sitting since 2016 and I have had my own dogs all of my life (as well as livestock). The safety of animals in my charge is my top concern.

Christi looked after my dog Maple for more than a week and kept us thoroughly updated throughout. It was a great relief knowing she had the time and space to properly look after Maple. She came back a happy pup.

I wish there were ten stars. Christi has helped take care one of my dogs before and after MLP and TIPLO surgery. My senior pup and he stayed the week of Thanksgiving and had the most amazing time. Due to another surgery she was so open to having meds directly sent to her house - was willing to drive to Lynnwood to pick them up if she had too. My pups know when I say load up you get a vacation from me they are going to see two of their favorite people and the farm. So blessed to have Christi and I know how well taken care of they are when with her.

Schedule
I work from home and honestly, I rarely leave the farm, so I am always available. I am more likely to be inside in the winter and outside in the summer.

Safety, trust & environment
I am a very attentive sitter with lots of experience. Each visit is truly different based mostly on the needs of the dog/dog owner and also the weather. If it is really windy or hot, we will stay inside more to make sure everyone is safe. Safety is always my main concern.
A typical day
Each day is different depending on the dog. I really cater my day to the comfort of the dog. With some dogs, we may play all day and some dogs prefer a relaxing day with lots of snuggles (and some prefer a little of both).
