I've been around dogs and cats all my life! I grew up with cats and dogs as pets. When I moved out on my own, I didn't have the space or funds for my own pet while attending college. So I volunteered at the local animal shelter and helped them with dog walking and outdoor play, also helped bath cats and give meds. I worked at the animal shelter in Moncton as an animal attendant for a while. I was responsible for looking after all the animals that came into our care. This included feeding, giving medications, walks, baths, outdoor play, I helped some dogs with behavioral issues work on training. I no longer work at the shelter, but I continue to volunteer weekly. I also have my own animals at home! I have 2 dogs and a cat. The dogs are both Golden retriever/husky mixes so I have no fear of stubborn attitudes and goofy/clumsy personalities 😂 My cat loves to believe she is a dog so we harness her up and bring her outside with us too! She loves to sit in the sun and watch birds.
