Availability
I work from home full-time, so my schedule is very flexible. I can take 2-3 breaks during the work day to walk your pet if they are staying with me, or stop by your home for potty and walk breaks. If they are staying with me for day care or boarding, I can meet your pet where they are in terms of potty, walk, and play breaks, as well as forced nap times, if necessary.

Information Cheyauna P. would like to know about your pet
Any adverse or reactive behaviors? How does your pet get along with other pets? Is your pet intact? What is their energy level and activity needs? Special diet or treats to avoid? How do they behave when left alone for short periods of time?
A typical day
I take cues from the parent on the activity level of their pet and meet his or her needs accordingly. With higher energy dogs, we may go on long walks, play fetch, visit the dog park or run around in my yard. With lower energy dogs, I have several snuffle mats, treat puzzles, lick mats and scatter or hide treats around my house for them to search and find. I have so many baskets of toys for multiple daily play breaks. I confirm with you that I have the “okay” to perform these activities with your pet ahead of time.

Pet care experience
I'm a lifelong pet caregiver with over 10 years of daily, hands-on experience caring for dogs. From childhood, my home included dogs and cats. Caring for them has been part of my everyday life. Not just feeding and exercise, but understanding personalities, the importance of routines and individual needs. I'm the pet parent of 3 French Bulldogs whom I've raised from puppyhood. They are now 10 months, 10 years and my eldest just passed the 🌈 bridge. Raising them has given me extensive experience across all life stages. From energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring daily medications, extra patience and care. Because of this, I'm acutely aware of the unique needs and care of brachycephalic breeds, including breathing sensitivities, temperature regulation appropriate exercise levels and age-related health needs. I work from home, which allows me to provide constant supervision (if necessary), flexibility and plenty of attention throughout the day. I'm available for dog walking, drop in visits, day care, and boarding. I'm comfortable following detailed care instructions, medication schedules, and specific routines. My own dogs require precise care plans, so I fully understand how important it is that your pet's instructions are followed exactly. Keeping your pet’s routine as close to how it is when they’re home with you is a priority for me. Following familiar routines helps alleviate their stress, build trust and ease into comfort while they are in my care. My dogs are friendly and accustomed to being around other pets. All of my dogs are intact, so I ask that owner's disclose whether their dogs are intact or in heat prior to booking. This allows me to thoughtfully plan and recommend the most appropriate service - such as visits to your home instead of boarding in mine - so everyone remains safe, comfortable and stress free. Pets in my home are welcome on furniture and I aim to make them feel as at ease as possible during their stay. I use careful management and positive handling techniques to ensure harmony when pets share space. I'm always mindful of body language and prioritize their safety and comfort. When your pet is in my care, you can expect regular photo updates and communication from arrival to departure so you always feel informed and reassured. I take pride in being attentive, reliable and genuinely invested in your pet's well-being!
Reviews
Chey was amazing! On time, communicative, receptive to all the information I gave her about my pets. I will for sure be booking with her again, with confidence that my animals are with a great person who’s highly responsible.
Chey is always prompt, communicative, and caring. I am always confident and relaxed when I know that Chey is caring for our elder fur baby.
I highly recommend! Cheyauna was wonderful! She came to my house twice a day for 8 days to feed and check on my elderly cat. She was immediately responsive to my request and came to my house to meet me and my cat prior to my leaving. She communicated consistently every day and sent pictures of what my cat ate. All of this made me feel so comforted to know my cat was well cared for! I found it more difficult to a "cat" sitter on Rover, but Cheyauna clearly loves all animals and did a fantastic job.

Birdie had the best time with Chey and her pups! I would highly recommend her for sitting- she communicated, sent great photos, and was so helpful when my flight home got delayed!
