Safety, trust & environment

My animals are on a strict routine and love it. I have 3 rescue dogs who have had food insecurity prior to living with me so they are kennel fed separately to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe. I flea treat the house weekly, flea treat my pets monthly, and deworm everyone monthly, and bathe everyone regularly. I scoop my cat boxes daily and deep clean them weekly, my animals being happy is important to a safe clean happy home and you can be sure i will love and care for your babies, the way i do for mine.

Information Chelsie L. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behavior problems so we can have a safe visit. I need to know about Leash aggression, resource guarding, any fear triggers. I've walked some really fearful dogs before and it's taken time to build trust, but it's possible if I know what their boundaries are.

A typical day

Every time a dog leaves the house it's like going to an amusement park for them. There is so much visual stimulation and smells. I want to make sure they explore safely and follow their noses. I love to challenge them on leash training if needed, recall on leash, redirection, I keep a treat pouch on my hip for leash training.

Pet care experience

I have had a wide variety of animals my whole life, everything from dogs and cats to exotics, like an alligator named Fingers when i was a teen, to small critters like bunnies, ferrets, tarantulas, and rats. I have 20 years of experience volunteering in animal rescue and rehabilitating animals. I know how to administer medications via syringe, tend to wounds, flea and parasite treatment, and I'm confident working with animals who have behavioral problems, senior and geriatric animals or special medical needs. I do have knowledge in positive based dog training, I have 3 rescued dogs, along with 7 rescued cats! I love every animal I meet and strive to give them the best care possible. *House sitting through the app is considered 24hr care, not just over night stays, so your fur babies will never be lonely! There is an extra activity fee if you want doggie daycare activities for your pup during my stay. *regular outside play, walks, and all normal activities included in house sitting price* Doggie daycare with me: price is for a 4 hr half day period, every additional hour will be $25 and charged at time of booking. At this time, doggy daycare will not be at my home, I like to get dogs out and moving with adventure. I have safety steps in place to make sure your pup is always safe (ie: doggie seat belts or crate in car, life jacket for water play required, only private rented fenced sniff spots for park play etc). We can discuss this at booking. Activities included: hiking, paddle boarding, private rented sniffspot, pup cup stop. Dog walking includes some regular minor leash training if needed, please have poop bags and treats available, I do have harnesses and leads I prefer to use if you're interested I can bring them.

Chelsie was a fantastic carer for my calico! She even won over my prickly princess ❤️. House was left spotless and I came home to happy, stress free kitties. Will book again!

Chelsie was great. Prompt and willing to come back when Zoro was being stubborn and not wanting to eat. She kept in contact and had great communication.
