Pet care experience
My journey in the world of animal care began as a Vet Assistant. Over the years, I have honed my skills and knowledge, gaining valuable experience in understanding and tending to the needs of animals. Alongside my professional endeavors, I have also been a proud pet parent to seven adorable furry companions and work at a dog daycare in Port Moody. This hands-on experience has not only enriched my life but has also deepened my empathy and connection with animals. Through my work, I strive to create a nurturing environment where animals can thrive and receive the attention they deserve. Caring for animals is not just a profession for me; it is a calling that brings me immense joy and fulfillment.

Chelsie was great with our reactive pups! 100% recommend

Chelsie was great to work with. She took such great care of my cat Shadow. I will definitely be having her come again for future visits.

Once again, Chelsie took exceptional care of Leo. He was calm and happy on our return. Thanks for cleaning up all of his litter messes too! We (and Leo) look forward to having you here again.

We are so grateful to Chelsie for taking such great care of our cat, Leo. He was sick while we were away and she kept a close eye on him, adjusted his food, cleaned up after him and showed so much care. She is so knowledgeable and she kept us well informed. Leo us doing much better now. We couldn't be happier. Thanks so much, Chelsie!

Safety, trust & environment
I create a stimulating and caring atmosphere for all animals in my care, tailoring activities based on their individual requirements. Younger, more energetic companions enjoy long walks, maybe even a hike, plenty of playtime with enrichment activies , games and toys and swimming in the summer. Older animals may prefer relaxing together while I pet and groom them, and occasionally, they allow me to trim their nails when necessary. Each animal is special, and I strive to adapt to their unique needs.

Living in the Port Coquitlam area has us spoiled! From walks along the dyke, to Minnikhada, Burke Mountain and all around the Tri Cities! There is no shortage of stimulation and fun to be had in our very own backyard! And for our less mobile friends, there are many local parks near by that allow for leisurely strolls or casual bird watching.
