Pet care experience
I’ve cared for dogs since my family adopted our first dog back in 2007. Since then, I’ve owned and worked with three different labs (yellow, chocolate, and black - the whole set!). I’ve had experience caring for them at both puppy age and into their senior years, so I am able to accommodate pups of all ages. I’m very familiar with all aspects of care - including the rough stuff. I’ll treat your dog as my own, and will gladly send many pictures/updates for you while they’re in my care. *Last minute bookings* Please note that I cannot accept last minute bookings for dog walking! If you would like to book a dog walk, it is vital to me that I am able to meet the dog ahead of time and see how they do on walks/outside of their house. Last-minute I would consider to be 72 hours notice or less (applying only to new, first-time clients) as usually there is not enough time to schedule a meet and greet before the booking. Thank you for understanding!
Reviews

Chelsea was incredibly professional and trustworthy, and her thorough Rover Cards and open communication eased all of our worries. After our meet and greet, we felt fully confident in Chelsea’s preparedness and her wealth of experience. We look forward to using her services again and would highly recommend to anyone.

Chelsea was absolutely amazing with our puppy Stella! She sends frequent updates and takes the cutest pictures. She is responsible, communicative and very experienced with dogs of all ages and sizes. I felt so comfortable with her care and would recommend her to anyone.

Safety, trust & environment
I have experience with dogs who have struggled with traumas, having volunteered at an animal shelter and pet sitting for friends. It’s very important to me to form strong trust between myself and animals, which is why I suggest a meet and greet before care begins. I also am experienced in what to do in case of emergencies, and have a lot of knowledge of the veterinary clinics nearby the Boston area, should an emergency arise. I also have experience with training, and if your dog needs help working on something (walking on a leash, crate training, etc) I am happy to help!
Information Chelsea M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is reactive, especially on walks, because I would like to meet them before hand to see if my care is a good fit for your pup. I do have some experience with walking a moderately reactive dog. Please also let me know if your dog has any special needs or traumas that I should be mindful of. Thank you!
A typical day
If your dog is more of an active pup, I’m happy to take them to the park. Near to my apartment, Amory Park is a great place for dogs who love other dogs and don’t mind being around kids. If your pup is more of an introvert, I am happy to take them on solo walks, where I can do training if needed. I can also help provide mental stimulation from lick mats, kongs, and making sure your pup gets to check out lots of new smells.

Availability
I currently am in school in Boston. For the fall ‘25 semester, I am available *outside* of the hours of 12pm-2pm Mon/Weds, 11am-2pm Tues/Fri, and 12pm-9pm on Thurs. I keep some of these days blocked off on my calendar, but if you are requesting care for those days outside of the above listed times, feel free to reach out and we’ll see if we can sort something out! Additionally, I am typically very available most weekends.
