Hikes, walks, care in Acadia!
I love dogs (and cats) more than anything! I am happy to treat your fur babies to the finest care during the day, overnight, while you are on vacation, or once in awhile for walks, hikes, check ins, at your place or mine! A popular request has been from folks on vacation who need someone to hang out with their pets at their campground/rv/hotel/air bnb while they enjoy the park, biking, boating or going out to eat. Sometimes locals have important meetings or long hours out of town obligations and their pets need company. Book dog sitting/pet sitting for the day for this service! Just need a check in for food/water/potty break? Book a walk or check in! For boarding, My husband and I have a wonderful centrally located home in the Acadia region off the island. We have a fenced in yard and can take the stress out of leaving your pets while on vacation. Pick up and drop off can be arranged at the head of the island if requested. Wedding or event coming up? I can be your pets chaperon then too, just ask :) Need to exercise your pup? Mini day hikes available too- custom fit for your pups comfort.

If you’re visiting Acadia National Park and need someone you can trust with your pet, I cannot recommend Charlotte highly enough. We were incredibly nervous about leaving Carl with a stranger while we went on a boat tour, but Charlotte immediately put all of our fears to rest. She was kind, communicative, and clearly cared about Carl as if he were her own. She kept us updated throughout the visit, let us know when she arrived, and sent plenty of photos that gave us complete peace of mind. It was obvious from the pictures and updates that Carl was happy, comfortable, and getting lots of attention. Charlotte even made sure he got extra treats and plenty of love while we were away. The thoughtful updates meant we could actually relax and enjoy our time instead of worrying about him. Finding someone trustworthy to care for your dog while traveling can be stressful, but Charlotte exceeded every expectation. We would absolutely book her again and recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter.
Charlotte took care of our 3 month old puppy for a few days while we were in Acadia. She kept us updated every day with photos and updates. She took such good care of him and went above and beyond with the extra needs of a puppy.
She is great. Isabel loves her. I really appreciate that is prompt, in constant contact as to her to.minute status and perky.

Our home offers a wonderful spacious lawn and garden area for the pups with a secure 4' ht enclosed fence. Guest pets enjoy supervised play time and leashed walks on our 100 acres and trails. Inside our home guest pets get full roam to hang, unlimited toys, approved treats and total pampering. Pups hang with me all day for a low stress, relaxing stay! Pet sitting at your home is welcome too with the same care and attention!

Acadia is in our backyard! If you would like your pet to experience a more sniff-full and impactful hike, I can accommodate this! Low impact walks around the block are OK too!
