As a full-time therapist, my weekdays are primarily dedicated to client sessions. I am most available for pet care on Thursdays through Sundays, which allows me to provide consistent, unrushed attention during those days. On my available days, I structure my routine around scheduled check-ins, walks, feeding times, and maintaining each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I prioritize reliability and clear communication with pet parents so they feel confident their pets are cared for while they’re away. This setup allows me to stay fully present with clients during the week while giving pets my focused time and attention on weekends and Thursdays.

I also like to know feeding instructions, walk preferences, leash behavior, and how they respond to new people or other animals. Any medical needs, medications, or special instructions are also important so I can keep them safe and consistent. My goal is to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible and make them feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.
A typical day
I love keeping pets happy and engaged with simple, fun activities like walks, fetch, tug-of-war, and interactive play with toys. I also make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and time to just relax and feel comfortable. I adjust the activity level based on each pet’s personality—whether they’re energetic and playful or more calm and cuddly—so they feel safe, stimulated, and cared for while you’re away.

Friends regularly trust me to care for their pets while traveling. I prioritize calm, attentive care, maintaining routines, and making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well looked after.

Our dogs love Charley. This is not an easy achievement with one of our dogs, Jameson! Jameson is big, fluffy and sweet but terrified of new people. It takes time for him to trust people. Charley managed to win him over easily! Charley is kind, reliable and trustworthy . She has been pet sitting for us for six years and feels like she’s part of our family. She also takes great care of our 3 cats. She even managed to give our old cat Sammy her medication while we were away. For anyone who has ever had to administer eye meds and pills to a cat, knows that this is no easy feat! She is an extraordinary young women who has accomplished so much at such a young age. When you meet her, you’ll understand how incredible she truly is. We highly recommend her! Our furry family gives her 5 paws up!
