I’ve recently retired and now do volunteer work in the community. I have ample flexibility on weekdays and also weekends for pet care. Aside from every other Tuesday and Wednesday mornings I am usually available!

I have a large fully fenced yard and live near a public office-leash dog park (if you allow off-leash time) and also live near beautiful on-leash walking trails. My only current pet is a small parrot named Tweety but she will be caged during your pet’s stay (or she can be in another room if needed).

I would like to know if your dog has a specific routine or if your pet prefers different activities at various times. Will your dog eat if you are away? Is there anything special I should do if your dog refuses food when you are away? If your dog is quite large, I need to know if he or she will pull hard on the leash. Any information you can provide about your pet is welcome.

Just tell me what your dog likes and I will do my best to provide that activity. (Fetch the ball, stick, frisbee). One dog prefers to watch me throw the ball and fetch it myself. lol. Walks around our neighborhood and lovely trails will provide lots of smells and exercise for your pet.

I look forward to caring for your cherished dog!! He or she will be the only canine in our home. So, your dog will get all of my attention. (If there are two dogs from the same family, we can discuss this.) I grew up on a farm with pets of all kinds (horses, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits). I’ve been a pet parent to a perfect beagle all her life. Currently I own a little budgie with a big attitude! lol. I continue to look after my family grand-puppies and friends’ canines while they are away. I accept only one dog at a time. I would love to hear from you.

Charlanne provided wonderful loving care for our pup Frederick. Excellent communication, photos and updates were provided throughout the day...we could see that Freddie was having a fantastic day at the sitters.
