Treating your pets like my own
Hi! My name is Celestine, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I have experience looking after both dogs and cats through personal pet sitting, family care, and volunteer work at PAWS Animal Shelter. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs — from playful, energetic pets to shy or senior animals that need extra patience and gentle attention. Growing up, I regularly helped neighbors, friends, and family with pet sitting responsibilities such as feeding, walking, cleaning litter boxes, giving fresh water, playtime, and making sure pets felt safe and comfortable while their owners were away. I’ve also cared for my siblings’ cats and understand how important consistency, cleanliness, and affection are for pets, especially when they’re adjusting to someone new. My experience volunteering at an animal shelter taught me how to stay calm, attentive, and compassionate around animals of all temperaments. I understand that every pet is different, and I always take time to learn their routines, comfort levels, and preferences so they feel secure and cared for. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely love building trust with both pets and owners. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I always do my best to provide updates, communicate clearly, and care for every animal like they’re my own. Your pet will get lots of patience, attention, love, and responsible care with me — plus probably an embarrassing amount of compliments about how cute they are.

My goal is always to provide a safe, calm, and dependable experience for both pets and their owners. I am attentive to details, follow care instructions carefully, and make pet safety my top priority. Whether it's ensuring doors and gates are secure, monitoring a pet's behavior for any signs of stress, or maintaining their normal routine, I strive to create an environment where pets feel comfortable and well cared for. Through years of pet sitting and my volunteer experience at PAWS Animal Shelter, I've learned the importance of patience, consistency, and building trust. I understand that every animal is different, and I take the time to respect their boundaries, comfort levels, and individual needs. I also believe trust is built through communication. I am happy to provide updates and photos during visits so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy, safe, and receiving the attention they deserve while they're away. Above all, I treat every home with respect and every pet with the same level of care, kindness, and responsibility that I would hope someone would show to my own family members.

Chao is a fantastic pet and house sitter for our 2 dogs and cat. She's attentive, clean, follows directions, and asks clarifying questions.
Very sweet young lady. I thought by looking at her profile she had cats but she doesn’t. I want someone that has their own cats so they know exactly what they need.
Chao loves animals, is responsible, and is so kind and respectful. We've trusted her for years to catsit and house-sit for us. Our two cats - Simba and Nala - love having her around (maybe even more than myself 😆). She follows the instructions we give her for small and longer stays, she's clean and tidy while she stays at the house, she's on time, and overall is super easy and dependable. I couldn't recommend her enough as a loving pet caregiver.
Our cats absolutely love hanging out with Chao! We always feel so much better being away knowing that we have a responsible and caring animal lover watching our fur babies. She keeps everything neat and tidy and treats our cats with such care and concern. I don’t know what webs would do without her!

Dates de la garde
I’m naturally very organized and good at managing my schedule, so I’m reliable when it comes to feeding times, check-ins, walks, playtime, and keeping pets on their normal routines. Starting in October, I’ll be attending dental hygiene school full time, so my weekday daytime availability will become very limited. However, I still expect to be available some evenings, nights, and most weekends for pet care. No matter how busy life gets, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and I make sure any pet in my care gets consistent attention, patience, and dependable care.

- A few things I would love to know about your pets beforehand are: - does your pet have any special needs? (Medical conditions, allergies, dietary restrictions, emergency contacts) - what is their daily routine? - what is their feeding schedule? - what is their personality like (and the best way to ease them around new people)? - what are their favorite activities and ways to spoil your pet? - for cats, what are their favorite hiding spots and toys? - Anything else you feel like is worth knowing! The more information the better. I want to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable during this time :)
