With over 20 years of pet-sitting experience, I've had the joy of caring for animals since my childhood. What started as cat and dog-sitting for family evolved into a small business during my time in San Francisco. Being around animals brings me an immense sense of calm and joy. I've worked with a wide variety of pets, from puppies to seniors to rescues, and I understand that each one has its own unique personality and needs. Whether it's walking through trails, cuddling with a movie, running on the beach, or playing with other dog families at the park, I love spending time with animals. As a full-time entrepreneur, writer, and artist, pet-sitting is both a perk and a privilege that fits perfectly into my flexible remote schedule. Catherine is a wonderful sitter - we got pics every day, and our animals loved her. Everything was clean and nice when we returned. We will definitely have her back!
Murphy really enjoyed his time with Catherine! Really appreciated the level of communication and flexibility working with Catherine. She left our house spotless so that when we returned from a long trip, everything was clean and ready for the next day.
Catherine was two hours late for our meeting before we left on our trip, so we didn’t get to walk her through watering and solar needs. This made us wonder whether this was going to be a good fit. Over the two weeks we were gone, Catherine sent lots of photos and kept us up on happenings at home, which we appreciated. When we returned home, however, we found that items from several rooms had been rearranged, personal items had been used, and a lot of food was gone from the pantry. Catherine had used Dawn dish soap in the dishwasher resulting in the machine overflowing onto the wood floor. We have put a fan on the area to try to control warping. Although we wrote out a detailed schedule for watering, Catherine did not use it, saying that she didn’t water the plants on the covered patio for a week because it had been raining. Our two rescue dogs were skittish and wouldn’t come when they were called repeatedly when we first got home, which hadn’t happened after any of our other trips. Although Catherine seems like a nice woman, we don’t feel she was a good fit for our family. We will not be using her again.
Catherine is the sweetest!! She took such great care of my dog and sent me tons of updates and photos while I was away. I even came home to fresh flowers she had picked on their walks together. She left my home very clean and was just a pleasure to work with. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone who needs a sweet, caring, responsible dog sitter. Catherine was a joy! She was thoughtful, a delight to communicate with, took great care and gave lots of love to our dog and cats (and sent lots of great pics!), and even surprised us by washing the sheets and towels and giving our dog a bath! The place was left in great shape as well. We are 100% excited to work with Catherine again in the future!
Catherine was great about taking care of our cat for a week last minute. They really got along and it was excellent to see our CC the cat in good shape after our time away.
