Animal Lover! Have 3 of my own!!
Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes, but big dogs have always had a special place in my heart! I currently have a Boston Terrier who loves to cuddle—she’s truly one of my best friends and fits her role as a companion dog perfectly. I’m also a proud cat mom to two amazing cats. One is a rescue we raised from a kitten—he has three legs, is absolutely beautiful, and loves to talk (a lot!). My other cat has been with me since I was a teenager. I raised her from a kitten too, and she’s truly my girl—she even acts like a dog sometimes! My pets mean the world to me, and I treat every animal I meet like one of my own. I know how important our fur babies are, and I’m committed to making them feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away.
Reviews
I have had Cas watch my dogs multiple times. She is a very trust worthy and reliable person. The dogs love her, and she is really good with them as well. I would recommend Cas to any of my friends or family.
Cassandra is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and has a genuine love for animals. She has watched our dogs multiple times while we’ve been away on extended vacations, and each time she’s gone above and beyond. She’s attentive, follows instructions carefully, and always reaches out with questions if something is unclear. She takes the time to walk and engage with the dogs, and it’s clear they absolutely adore her. It gives us great peace of mind knowing our pets are in such caring hands while we’re away. Highly recommend!

I care for animals with love and respect, treating them the way I’d want to be treated. I never force them to do anything they’re uncomfortable with—I know animals communicate through body language, not words, so I pay close attention to their signals. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and truly cared for. Their comfort and well-being always come first with me.

Information Casandra G. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting a pet, I like to know all the important details to help me give the best care possible. This includes: • Feeding schedule and portion sizes • Walk/potty break times (for dogs) • Litter box cleaning routine (for cats) • Any medications or health issues • Personality traits or behavior quirks (e.g., scared of loud noises, doesn’t like other dogs, hides when nervous) • Favorite toys, treats, or calming routines • Any rules you’d like me to follow (like furniture access, crate time, etc.) I also always prefer to schedule a meet-and-greet beforehand. I think it’s important that I meet both the pet and the family in person before entering the home alone. It helps your pet get comfortable with me while you’re still around, so I’m not just a stranger walking in. Building trust from the start makes the experience better for everyone—especially your pet.
A typical day
Whether it’s a dog or a cat, I always aim to match their energy and personality with the right activities. For dogs, I love going on walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, or just getting some fresh air together. If they’re more laid back, I’m happy to just hang out, give belly rubs, and keep them company. For cats, I like engaging them with toys like feather wands or laser pointers, or even just relaxing together and giving them attention if that’s what they prefer. I always take cues from the pet—some love to play, others just want a calm and safe presence. Either way, I make sure they feel cared for, stimulated, and loved.

Availability
Right now, I have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week at any hour. Caring for pets—whether it’s a cat, a dog, or both—easily fits into my daily and weekly routine. All I ask is for a clear list of tasks, including feeding times, portion sizes, walks (for dogs), litter box duties (for cats), and any other specific care instructions. Sharing a few details about your pet’s personality and preferences is optional, but it really helps me understand what they love, what they don’t, and how to make them feel as comfortable and happy as possible while you’re away.
