Experienced dog lover!
Pet care experience
Growing up, my family owned everything from mixed breed rescue dogs, to chihuahuas, to huskies, and everything in between, so I am used to all sorts of dogs. I now have a 7 year old rescue sighthound of my own. I have previously fostered 6 dogs through a local rescue centre, so me and my dog are used to welcoming different breeds, sizes and temperaments of dog.
Reviews

Carys was fantastic with our lively dog! She took a lot of care into how her dog was introduced to make them both comfortable. She sent updates and photos so we were confident it was all going fine! Our dog Arlo seemed really happy there and clearly had lots of fun!

Carys and family took great care of our dog, Bryn. He's quite a nervous dog, but settled in well with Carys' dog being a lovely, patient playmate. I would definitely recommend them!

Really great stay for our 13yo spaniel. Great communication, lovely spot for him to stay, we felt reassured throughout and he has come back to us chilled and happy.
I highly recommend Carys, she is friendly, reliable and trustworthy and provides me with such peace of mind knowing my girl is being looking after by someone who goes above and beyond and clearly adores dogs!

I live on the edge of a small town. I have a large, fully secure garden with a lawn (see pics) and small patio area so your dog can explore the outdoors safely and take regular toilet breaks.

Information Carys W. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any particular needs around their environment, food etc. It would be helpful to know your dog's temperament so that I can make sure it would be a good fit with my dog and if it is used to being around tiny people.
A typical day
We have a baby at home who is used to dogs and would be kept away/safe from any visiting dogs but we would need to know if your dog is freaked by tiny people! For this reason I couldn’t provide a walk in the day but could do so in the evening when someone else is around for the baby. However, my garden is large enough to throw a ball and let dogs have big zoomies so they would have plenty of opportunity for exercise outdoors in the day and I can provide other stimulation with toys, lick mats, and play time with my dog.

Availability
I currently work from home 2 or 3 days a week and am usually around for most of the weekend. I can take ad-hoc bookings but will usually require a few days notice.
